FIX "NEW SUBCLASS UNLOCKED" SPAM!!!!
You'll fix stuff that doesn't need fixing, maintenance on who knows what and who cares, patches on anything and everything, but the things that people are SCREAMING at you about. I get it. You don't care. So until you fix that infinite message pop up, I will NEVER EVER stop complaining.

Unfortunately and I absolutely find this annoying ... apparently you gotta go to ikora and pick up her subclass quests and if like me, you delete them...they go back to her she starts blinking and we see those popups. I successfully don't see on my titan anymore but bc I removed from my quest tab it returned to ikora and am back to those splash screens

1 ReplyWe are currently extremely busy protecting our grind mechanic and thus prioritizing ANY bug that advantages the player. Actually we are overdelivering on blanket nerfing at the moment and although secretly proud, realise we shouldn't put all our cards on the table and plan to draw back slightly. As a consequence minor QOL updates are a longer term concern but we can give you a tentative fix ETA of Q4 2025 subject to change. We hope this is satisfactory and reassures you that we are listening. -Bungie, possibly. P.S: Perk weighting does not exist, honest......

Gotta love the completely disinterested “Oh can you send us a video?” responses too. As if this hasn’t been going since Final Shape launched months ago, and they haven’t gotten a ton of videos sent in to them already. Just come out and say “[i]Look, we know it exists, we just have no effing clue how to fix it, so we’re leaving it in the game. Our bad[/i].” 😂

You know the funny thing? When that crap started first I was dumb enough being fooled and thought wow! Bungie having added new skills to my subclasses... So I checked my loadout screen, didn't find anything hence went straight to the tower heading over to Ikora! She must be in possession of my new arc/solar/void stuff... I admit I was a bit disappointed but speculated another bug her not showing yet my new capabilities. Tried it at least two or three times. Who knows... At least Ikora got some screen time.

And seeing how Bungie keeps building on a shabby base with shabbier features that then break in turn, I believe they can't fix some of those, possibly ever. The resources required to investigate 10+ years of code base in this Tiger engine have to be unfeasible. It's like trying to untangle a mile of Christmas tree lights. And as such, I don't have much faith in some bugs ever getting fixed. Money men prioritize fixing bugs that affect Silver purchases, everything else gets added to the infinite "we know, we don't care" known issues list. As a player though, I'm equally annoyed by these constant popups. Load into Crucible and get a kill – SUBCLASSES UNLOCKED! Load into Gambit and kill a single add – SUBCLASSES UNLOCKED! Not to mention strikes or raids. But hey, there is a surefire fix to this, provided you have the time: Delete your character or characters and make new ones. Something gets flagged in the database during the new new-light experience that stops those annoying SUBCLASS UNLOCKED screens for good. It's a bug that affects characters made before an unknown time in the past. Unfortunately, the time commitment required to play through all the crap again and unlock the added Darkness subclasses again on a fresh character is too much for me.
