The new card that is supposed to help get people loot doesn’t work and matchmaking is still trash. Why not bring back the flawless pool? That was a great way for regular players to play regular players. You wonder why the trials playlist population is low and yet the best idea you came up with is sidelined because streamers complained.

2 RepliesTrials is a cesspit of bad behavior that brings out the worst of the playerbase. Just torch the whole mode.

2 RepliesIdk man I managed to go flawless this weekend solo queuing and I am not amazing by any means. Skill issue tbh
-
29 RepliesFlawless Pool makes it easier for good players to farm bad players. Flawless Pool makes queue times take longer. Flawless Pool coupled with FBMM results in waaayyy longer queue times. Flawless Pool unfairly rewards those available to play on Sunday and Monday (so if you're only available on Friday or Saturday, you're out of luck). Flawless Pool makes it more challenging / punishing to group with players who are not in the same matchmaking bracket as you. For example, once you go Flawless, no one who hasn't gone Flawless will want to play with you. Flawless Pool makes carry services and recoveries easier. Flawless Pool discourages players from playing after they go Flawless.

22 RepliesYou have a card that lets you grind out adept guns and you’re still crying? Yikes
-
I don't think the flawless pool should come back, especially with all the new cards that help you go flawless/get adept weapons. I do feel like Bungie should try to find a way to perfect card base matchmaking and maybe go back to only solos vs solos and three stacks vs tree stacks.
-
Do you not remember how BAD flawless pool was especially on a Sunday you’d have thought all the top players have gone flawless so it will be easy now, nah it was sweatier then a overweight kid running the marathon.
-
Hell no. Flawless pool was the lowest point of trials in D2
-
You wonder why the trials playlist population is low and yet the best idea you came up with is sidelined because streamers complained.
And your idea to bolster the population is to literally split the remaining player base in half? Bungie has made so many changes to Trials to assist what you call normal players. If it were a raid, the difficulty would be akin to running it as a playlist strike at this point. Short of handing players the adept weapon each week upon login, I am not sure how much easier they could’ve made it…
-
People dodge the pool and farm lesser skilled players all weekend. It doesn't work

Edited by amazing_month041: 7/29/2024 5:44:47 AMFunny thing is that everyone say's you crying while they would do the exact same if the mode would return
-
The problem is lack of loot. Game needs new weapons more often to keep the playlist populated.
-
Played way more with that pool active. Now the playlist is as interesting as gambit is.
-
don't listen to those saying it was trash. it was the best option and the only time l was able to go flawless . bungie should of never got rid of it. it brought players in by the thousands.it's amazing how they keep messing with the game from nerfs to match making and BS mechanics and its been getting worse and worse over the last 18 months . Just look how messed up they have the class item chase. most everything they do has just made the game worse including adding running balls in the GM . most players don't bother even playing it. bungie l can most definitely see why your company needs to hire and fire.

the player pool is dead man.
-
6 Repliesah yes streamers the ultimate scapegoat for bungie.net forum users without a brain

It wasn’t good. You would get players not playing until the flawless pool was active, those players would only play until flawless then dip, it split the player base up and to top it off the number of complaints about players abusing it was a joke. It’s much better now, we can play all weekend without being punished, it’s easier then ever to go flawless with the new mercy card, you don’t even need flawless for adept weapons.
-
No point. It didn’t help anything back then, and in fact made things worse.
-
Because the flawless pool punishes people for getting a flawless card.
-
1 ReplyThe best weekend of trials had no flawless pool on burnout so yeah
-
5 RepliesWhen there aren’t too many people playing Trials splitting the playerbase is exactly what we need.
-
Edited by WifeAggro_AFK: 7/28/2024 1:24:57 PMWhile i like the idea of flawless pool; there were so many loop holes that it didn't function as intended; they'd need to come up with a better system.
-
7 RepliesFlawless pool fragmented the population for half of the weekend all for casuals who only want to play 1 card a weekend. It was a bad system that was never meant to be permanent. If it makes you feel any better, I’m at a 2kd+ this weekend and can’t get a solo flawless either.
-
2 RepliesNah it’ll just become the farming pool again.
