I lack the words needed to express just how unfun this weeks Partition is.

Anyone should feel glad if their "Vex Incursion Countermeasures" bounties are bugged this week, This weeks version of partition has you babysit the worst version of any escort npc. It has a gigantic aura that throws you up into the stratosphere so far that you barely make it back outside the "joining allies" box in time, its aura is so big that it takes up 50 to 25% of the playable area from start to finish. Its movement speed is excruciatingly low. Putting something like this in with the thought process of "Haha we're so quirky!" can work out, but this does not work out in any way shape or form and the devs responsible need a reality check. I'm sorry for being harsh but it is genuinely horrid to play.

  • This was the first one I played, and it was so -blam!- stupid. I guess I'm glad they're all not like that? I'll see when I try the others.

    • Well its not just with partition. The entire dlc feels like this. Ive seen several posts that talk about this same topic, but about different activities.

        No wonder the bounty was bugged. Bungie was too embarrassed of this god aweful mission. It’s so bad🤮 The more this season plays out, the more I tend to agree with the 6 review by ign.

        • Absolutely one of the biggest, top tier, loads of diarrhea I've ever been a part of in video gaming over the greater part of 40 plus years. One of the most idiotic smooth brain neck beard out of touch ideas I've ever seen. Hopefully by the time it comes around again I'll be pin capped on all class as to not bother.

        • Oh I'm loving the red disco ball launching me all over the place because it's funny Total sarcasm. Whoever wrote the partition thought it was funny, like "oh look at me, I can't control it, bumbling through and destroying all the vex stuff." But for people playing it, it's just annoying AF.

        • I definitely said "Seriously?" when I was flung off the cliff by the ball. But overall, I thought it was actually kinda funny how Sam kept apologizing for breaking the Vex platforms, and the boss was easy enough to defeat. It was a nice change of pace to have a lighthearted mission, like we used to get from Cayde or on Io (the mission where we had to engage in road rage by getting splatters with our sparrow came to mind).

        • Holy -blam!- I'm glad I'm not the only one that got super annoyed and irritated at this week's mission the constant booping triggered me so damn bad because of psions.

            I love getting booped off the map by Sam. The third time it happened was the best! All kidding aside, I think the Partitions are meh at best. The week 1 mission, I only did on one character. It was not fun and I didn't care about the pinnacle drops. Week 2 was easier and just kind of a nothing mission. Week 3 was ok, minus the Sam booping. Your ally should not be actively trying to kill you.

          • bungie thinks that all of us who play the games have some kind of mental -blam!- or something, it's not possible that when they did that they thought it was fun to have a ball pushing you every 2 seconds and throwing you off the map, i I'm sure they don't even test it, they just release it and wait for the community to complain

          • I thought it was only me LOL. First time I got to the end, I was on the last phase and got "killed by the architects" by getting run over by the stupid disco ball. I has to be one of the stupidest ideas for a mechanic that I have seen. Like, what is the point of having your ally constantly trying to disrupt you? Felt like I was being pun'k by the dev team.

            • I found the first one to be the worst. But, part of that may have been that I was severely underleveled at the the time. So week 2 and week 3 seemed like a breeze comparatively. I'll have to redo the first one to truly know. However, I can't tell you how many times I cursed the name of Sam Moleyn this week.

            • Once I knew to keep an eye on where he was, or even how to avoid his path (easy to do in the boss room) it wasnt hard. He may as well have not been there tbh. Also, the same rule applies to Sam as to Harpy Boss in GoS - let him go ahead. If you try to race him you'll just get booped.

            • It took me a little bit to figure out what was tossing me around at first. Once I got away from it and watched it a little while I just skirted around it until it caught me off guard and shot me up to orbit. I started having fun with it at that point.
