I recently had an experience with a dog. A good one, but it made me realize how much I like cats better. They’re just easier.
Thoughts?

They’re both fine. I have both. They just hate each other and I like both. Sometimes I take my dog to stupid places I shouldn’t and get attention. Pretty fun. Cats are more chill for when your at home. It’s nice when you don’t wanna be out or do anything and just sit down with your cat. 🗿

5 RepliesLet me put it this way. I’m a dog person. I am not a fan of cats. I don’t want to own something that I have to change their smelly litter box all day. Plus they step in their nasty litter boxes and then jump on your furniture. Dogs, you feed them, takem hunting, jeeping, have a good Time. Now honestly if you like cats… nice I’m glad you do. But I find you can do a lot more with dogs than cats, and cats cost a whole lot more to take care of (Cat litter). For us we buy our dog a 20lb bag of food and it’s happy for maybe a week and a half. Also I would like to add how many lives dogs have saved. Particularly one story when a military dog jumped on its owner to save him from a bomb, the dog ended up losing its leg, to save his owner.

2 RepliesGrew up with cats, dogs, and a bird. Dogs are alright but I much prefer cats, and I'm really not a fan of birds.

1 ReplyEdited by Seraph: 11/26/2022 2:26:37 PMI've had pets ( both cats and dogs ) my whole entire life. I was primarily a dog person up until I turned 16, because most of the cars that I grew up with were primarily outdoor cats who weren't particularly friendly or cosy, especially with 'children'. After I turned 16, my family adopted our first indoor cat, and I must say that the experience has been quite illuminating. Cats are surprisingly cosy pets ( not to mention amusing ) when you raise them right ( get them used to people, play with them as kittens, and pamper them ). They are definitely low maintenance compared to dogs ( which are basically the same as raising young children ).

1 ReplyI love both. Animals are awesome

4 RepliesI have a tiny tortie cat, she likes to fetch and is very much a fan of affection. My partner has 3 dogs (a chihuahua, terrier and a rottweiler mix), 2 ferrets, and a dozen or so mice. I'm definitely more a cat person, but the chihuahua is super cute.

1 ReplyAs someone whose been a lifelong cat(s) owner, I have absolutely no problem with dogs either. I do hope one day I do have a dog, actually. But, until that time, I will be sure to obey my furry overlords...

1 ReplyDogs used to chase me forever on the other side of the neighborhood. I’m mostly over that trauma, but cats have always been more chill towards me; despite never having one. Haven’t had much experience with birds or any of the more “exotic” (for a lack of a better phase) pets.

1 ReplyDogs are annoying. I’ve only ever met one dog I’d consider an exception, and even then I’d never want said dog as my pet.
