Can someone explain why Arc titans get a 1 shot melee? Due to the nature of arc they move quick, have a front shield making them hard to kill before you just die in one hit?

Thunderclap 2 second charge time stationary can only look slightly right, left, and up once started. Shoulder charge 120 base 260? With an exotic. Ballistic slam 120 base 240 exotic 200? With dune. All of them one shot just different exotics for ballistic and shoulder while Thunderclap is base one shot but major downsides.

Strikers have three melees: Seismic Strike [i](also known as Shoulder Charge, which is the one they active while sprinting and can be performed both on the ground and mid air)[/i], Ballistic Slam [i](which is the fist that is slammed on the ground from above)[/i] and Thunderclap [i](the new one arrived wih Arc 3.0 that requires the Titan to charge the hit standing on spot)[/i]. The only one that can 1HK of these three is a fully charged Thunderclap. Seismic Strike and Ballistic Slam can't 1HK unless the Titan isn't using Exotics such as Peregrine Greaves or Syntocheps. The only Class that can naturally 1HK with a melee without need of buffs or Exotics are Solar Hunters with the Throwing Knife, but it requires a perfect Headshot to do so which can be pretty hard to perform in a PvP environment.

The melee ability literally is counterproductive to the movement play style of Striker due to it’s slow charge up and stationary requirement No offence but if you’re letting them run up to you, then stand in one place and charge up their melee to kill you, then that’s on you.
