Add tiered progression based on skill with sbmm then sure. The best players should gain 10x the loot quality/quantity, rep, currency and any other form of progression than the worst players.

The last season sbmm was in the game pvp was an all time low. Long wait times and awful connections.

21 RepliesHi matey, read your post and can only agree with you. It's shite. Just pay no attention to the naysayers who just wish to shut you up. We all know why they want CBMM to remain. SBMM when it actually existed in Quickplay worked fine. The matches were balanced, gamers against gamers of a similar skill level, slowly improving their respective kd's. Trouble was the poor God Tier Sausages had to fight each other all the time, now where's the fun in that?.....he said sarcastically. These Bungie apologists/defenders of the faith make me sick but unfortunately when you or I post something that goes counter to what the minority want you get bombarded. You could say it's exactly what's wrong with the World we now live in. Keep the faith brother, I agree with you. The trouble is Bungie doesn't give a toss.

6 RepliesI get a shiver in the dark every time I think back to SBMM. Sound of the river flowing through midtown as shaxx calls the game. The 6 stack is blowing Dixie in their discord call. You’ll feel alright when you leave matchmaking. Well you step inside and you see no happy faces. Coming in and out of the rain as our chances of winning go down. Competition in all the places. But gjalahorns be blowing the house down. Way on down south. Way on down south. Midtown. You check out Xx_Ge0rge_xX he’s still got ammo for his sword. Mind, it’s strictly his opponents he wants to make cry and scream. I can’t think of any more bad jokes at the moment. X

CBMM will never work for this simple reason alone : If you change your IP with ExpressVPN or NordVPN to let's say North America, while you live in let's say France , you will get matched with North American players only. Same goes if I change it to German, mostly german players now suddenly in the tower and activities. How coincidental. At the same time because you use a VPN (Which MANY streamers if not ALL do , haha) you will also be kinda "lag switching" around the map. Especially in PvP lol. Tell me this isn't true and that I've been hallucinating seeing mostly if not only German players when switching to a German IP or North American or whatever. Tell me I've been hallucinating for more than 2 years. Cmon. Be a wise -blam!- about it. If using a VPN is illegal Bungie better ban literally any Destiny 2 streamer right now. But let's not focus on if it's legal or not. Let's focus on the fact it doesn't matter where you are located, only your IP matters for the CBMM. If you live in the USA and use a Netherlands IP you WILL get matched with the Netherlands pool of players. All the time, for the entire time that you use that VPN. Which nobody seems to talk about ^^ I say try it out yourself. I bet you can even get an easier Trials pool by playing at a time of day where it's noon or afternoon for you and you select a country where it's like 4 AM, connect to that and then only get matched against burned out nightcrawlers. Also the arguement these sweats are using is "get better" , it is true. However I wanna see how you like it when you can't communicate with your team in any way, get matched with 2 people that don't give a -blam!- a 3 stack much better than your 3 stack ever was. And that 10 games in a row. See how you like it. Bet you gonna say "WELL I'D JUST GIT GUD LMAO" . But I'd like to see that live, from a camera filming you in your gaming room. You not losing your -blam!- after 5 games. I bet you'd lose your -blam!- after 2 rounds. I'd put money on that. Tell me again how CBMM works. I'll change my VPN and avoid you completely.

2 RepliesI hate SBMM cuz some lag players that immune my attacks (or delay damage attack after I died then enemy player died for 5 secs later). Also, warping positions that enemy player who have bad connections. I prefer CBMM than SBMM.

SBMM was awful. Bring back CBMM! There's clearly no CBMM at the moment, as lag is absolutely unbearable.

1 ReplyThe matchmaker is absolutely busted right now but unless they can implement this without constant lag I don't think it's worth it. I think a good middle ground would be to narrow the parameters a little.
