It's not, can confirm. Ran about 10-11 yesterday, most gave 1 core, I got 1 prism once, n 1 exotic, 1 even gave 2 blues.

The hero nigjtfall? Why peoples still think lower NF will shower them with loot?

It's not that, hero nightfall gives good loot usually, makes it worth grinding. This week is A) broken so platinum is 'almost' impossible B) rewarding adept tier loot and feels broken C) takes really long, and is full of cheesy deaths D) often you join a run halfway through as people quit This, when they just release news that scouts are champion guns next season and hung jury is the weapon drop. This nightfall has been broken for 4 years, and still is. This week is just 1 big unfortunate clusterfook

No....hero isn't rewarding ever Playing with randoms that doesn't know about the champion during the ogre will cause you to miss out...but that's the price to plat low level matchmaking activity

Hero is very rewarding usually on double loot week, you'll get an exotic every 2-3 runs n nightfall loot every 3-4 runs. It's not just the ogre champion, which is ver hard to find, it doesn't always spawn, but if 1 person goes 100yds ahead, even if the champions don't despawn and you kill them, it doesnt count.

It always spawn as long you don't rush the ogre fight And no hero isn't rewarding ....try harder difficulty you will see

Slash is correct, I used to run Hero all the time on Double Rewards and would plenty tons of Prisms, Vanguard Weapons, Cores, Exotics every so often. Now, there are still times it is NOT rewarding (especially without Double Rewards). But having done Legend and Master difficulty and still only gotten one Enhancement Core and maybe a weapon or armor piece, just does not feel rewarding enough to commit to (on top of dealing with annoying Champion modifiers that bend you sideways to play a certain way).

I say that because I know from past experience on Double Rewards, it felt like Double Rewards. Completing the Hero Fanatic Strike on Double Rewards was a much different experience. I was getting a Plug One or Uzume, an Exotic, two cores, and two prisms almost every run. This week? Nothing. Barely anything. Seems Bungie borked the double rewards for matchmaking, or they stealth nerfed them to force players into the higher level stuff.

Or you don't make it platinum..... Again hero reward is terrible and double reward isn't helping it much...you think you get a lot but again play the higher version....just go in legend it's way different and not that harder

I have played higher difficulties and gotten the same level rewards even after killing all Champions. And off all the runs I did on Tuesday for Hero Nightfalls, only two were Gold. The first one bugged, because I killed every single Champion (made sure of it before blueberries melted everything or ran past it). But the fact still remains, Destiny is an extremely unrewarding experience to play. When you can earn the same rewards you get from a bounty, what incentive is there to keep going? There needs to be greater expectations for reward completions of playlist activities or higher level activities. The same reasoning applies to Legend and Master Lost Sectors.I should not spend ten minutes killing all Champions, get Platinum, have all my lives, only to get some Glimmer and a Core, it's unrewarding and inconsistent. And if that means buff rewards and lower tier gameplay as well as higher tier gameplay, than so be it. This game would be infinitely more enjoyable if everything was not a tedious grind to the finish.

It's not, every other Looter I have played has a more rewarding experience than this. Bungie's loot system makes me not want to play. It doesn't help that they sunset most of their loot options then expect you sycophants to lap up whatever few guns they sprinkle back in.
