Story has completely gone off the rails, not in a good way. We still have a myriad of the same problems we've had for years. Being told to go back into strikes/gambit/crucible by a block of text, isn't content, isn't a reason to play those activities, and isn't engaging. So much time is wasted on new seasonal activities that without fail after about 5 runs, are extremely tedious, but do you want to run that tedium or play a strike that's been in the game for literal years, or play another lopsided crucible map that's been around since vanilla or worse, brought back from D1 with little thought to how the sandbox has changed since then, or play Gambit at all?
We have someone who not only brought us DMT, which is arguably broken, but then after hearing the cries of how oppressive it feels, chose to BUFF the damn thing instead of addressing the real issues. The team he's on also just decimated something as simple as the space magic in our space magic game and brought us a new element that was nothing but obnoxious for the entire year, and required nerf after nerf after nerf. That same team is about to make mincemeat out of our void subclasses.
We still have a convoluted currency system that no one engages with the way Bungie intends. We still have a largely useless collections system, leaving us with vaults full of things we don't want to get rid of because of the incessant shifts in balance, or even worse, the seasonal artifact mod system which forces players to use certain archetypes, or elements, to play anything harder than a strike. Thinking of wasted room on loot, how many times did we say that elemental affinities for armor/mods doesn't feel good? Instead of finding a way to make it feel better, they add more elements!
Am I looking forward to Witch Queen? Of course. As unsatisfied as I have been with this game, I still come back to it, I still feel attached to it because of all I've invested into it. But I refuse to pat them on the back when they've been aggressively ruining the things I've loved about this series. The behind the scenes drama has massively hurt this series and honestly seems to me like they learned all the wrong lessons from it.

First stasis was not in need of nurffing 50% of people who asked for it to be nurffed had ben Titan main unhappy about hunters geting the Best of the 3 stasis supers and 50% had ben free to play players without stasis and 100% was people who played pvp more then pve and your going to see a loot more hunters useing stasis in pvp after void 3.0 as all hunters who do not want to go back to useing day1 void will jump to stasis 2d the big problem is the createuff side of bungie has ben taken over buy the bissnes side and everything thet happens is baseed on what the best and fastest way to make muney is the new bungie is makeing the game more about bungie then about what the community wants the dcv is destroying the game and its community the new director is no more then a puppet under the control of Luke Smith in sort d2 is turning in to the new fortnight

DMT got nerfed, and then got a justified buff. Idk about PC, but it’s just fine on console.
