Hey destiny 2 community and devs. I have a gripe to make. I consider myself a decent pvp player. My trials report shows me in the top 12% of trials players and my iron banner is top 3%. I have gone flawless 3 times. 2 of which I was carried through. The only "real" flawless I've ever had was the first week of the trials changes. Which as I've heard, was the easiest weekend to go flawless. So, in some sense, I've never truly earned a flawless run.
But let's look at some of my clanmates. On trials report, the average skill rating of my clan members that actively play pvp is the top 39% in trials. The highest being top 22%. Statistically, I am the best pvp player in my clan.
With that being said... why is it that my clanmembers consistently go flawless EVERY weekend, and yet I struggle to get 2 wins on a card? I've tried doing custom rumble matches with my mates to practice and test skill/reaction timing. All for the purpose of being better players. 9/10, I come out on top. So why am I having a hard time going flawless, but my mates go flawless easily? Is it something I'm doing wrong? Do I just need to "git gud" as they say? Any advice is welcome, even it is just "git gud." Thank you.

This game punishes better players, you should know this by now. If you’re solo Q, the give you bad teammates.

1 ReplySome people are cool under pressure. Some people handle stressful situations better. I sometimes can’t focus when being pushed hard by multiple people, I’ve seen people with worst stats perform great in high stress situations.
