Unfriend, go into “offline mode” (Ps4/5), go into do not disturb mode (xbox), say no, ignore it, leave privacy settings to closed. You have a slew of options, put on your big boy pants and stop wasting Bungies time.

I’m sure plenty of issues you have with the game are also “not bungies problem”. I think everyone will agree with your notion that the game needs no quality of life improvements.

Not relevant.

A slew of options that are mute when Bungie and Destiny bypass your privacy settings. It is not OK for a company or game to ignore people's system settings. I've done my part and set them up and they have worked for 13 years until this game decided to ignore all my privacy settings. This is not ok.

You can close everything related to friends and invites and reject invites and block people, it is NOT Bungies job, it is YOUR responsibility.

I have over 800 games + gamepass. This is the only game that does not respect privacy and security settings. Bungie created this game that bypasses all those settings. It's their job to fix it. Period. I know you think bungie has more important things to do, like limiting the amount of candy people can earn. But I disagree with your idea that this is a waste of time. Judging by the upvotes on this post a lot of other people seem to agree that this issue should be addressed.

There is no privacy settings Bungie is bypassing, you must be smoking something. Join a different clan or unfriend people, you getting annoyed with some children over a videogame is actually pathetic.

Never happened to me, only time friends show up offline mode is when we’re in the same party.

Excluding myself and the silent majority upvoting, there have been others in this thread saying that this happens to them regularly. I'm just going put a video together.

Sure I believe you, i’m telling you you need to get over it because you have some weird videogame anxiety you should talk to your doctor about.

It sounds like you're flip flopping between "bungie does not bypass privacy settings" to "loser with privacy settings, get over Bungie bypassing your privacy and security settings." Many countries have a legal right to privacy. The United States is one of them. Bungie is a US based company with millions of Destiny players in the US This game violates their right to privacy. Anxiety or anything you attempt to use as an insult does not matter. I'm asking for a QoL that would fix this. We have privacy settings turned on and a legal right to privacy. Bungie should respect them.

You showed an amazing ability to actually understand the core issue.. I'm impressed.
