Players: buff the under use exotics. Bungie: kill the ones in use!!! Problem solved.
Typical effin lazy response from this company since day one and peoole are getting sick of it.

Thats how bungo operates. If an item has high usage rate it must be nerfed to make other items better. They been doing this since D1. They also build encounters around our killer gear to make semi difficult but then they nerf the gear that was the basis of how hard some encounters are but then dont adjust the encounters because of our reduced effectiveness.

Bringing down the broken exotics is absolutely fine Will by default make the less used ones more appealing :)

2 RepliesThere were just as many, if not more, buffs as there were nerfs. Even the nerfs were accompanied by buffs.

Bungie nerfed exotics that needed nerfed (like Phoenix Protocol) and buffed exotics that never got used (Lucky Pants are about to be pretty damn cool). Idk what your problems with these changes are.

All I see when people complain about Bungie killing their exotics are people hella salty they can't just pop super for every enemy they fight in GM's. Just mad you can't abuse obviously OP gear that let you cheese every difficult piece of content and it shows.

13 RepliesOh, come on. They werent killed because bungie capped them. Do you really, ABSOLUTELY believe that people will stop using phoenix or ursa because they are now capped? Like they should have from the start? Because i dont. And dont get me started on the buffs to underused exotics.

They will still be top tier in endgame. 50% is still a significant amount

It was just a preview. There will be more of them hit, and buffed more than likely. Wait until the actual patch notes for the real salt!

1 ReplyThey all finally got the same treatment we got on Orpheus Rigs for almost 2 years ago. Always did wonder why it was the only one. It's whatever if you ask me. Though that nerf to Ursa furiosa genuinely scares me for running things like gm proving grounds. Chained Ursas was the ONLY strat my team could make work in that tank room.
