Trailer came out today during Game Fest. I’m still continuing my Dark Souls journey, but boy does the game look good.

26 RepliesThe combat looks really good, but the fact that you can summon a horse implies it’s open world, which does make me a bit skeptical. One of the things I love the most about Dark Souls is the level design. An open world Dark Souls-esque game sounds terrible to me.

The dragons are using lightning… THEY’RE USING THEIR OWN WEAKNESS

1 ReplyLiterally cannot wait. This game is the game I’ve been wanting for a long time, even before DS3. The amount of time I will sink into this game will be unhealthy. Almost can’t wait 6 months, but what’s another half year with news compared to radio silence for 2 years? There are also like 4 Berserk references in the trailer alone, which already had me hyped as well.

Time to face off with Glaive Master Hodir

Now that I watch it for the umpteenth time... I just hope we can make our own character instead of like Sekiro, cause that prosthetic lady seems to be popping up a lot in the announcement and trailer... Might just be me though...
Though if it's just that everyone has a missing limb, I can deal with that.
Also, Tarnished, heheh. Nice

What I got from the trailer, is that it's basically a mashup of every dark/high fantasy game FromSoft has released. Plus horses. I will continue to believe this until I see definitive proof otherwise, because honestly that entire trailer had me feeling like it was just an overwrought expansion to Dark Souls 3.
