It's fine to get rid of this, it's a bug, it's not intended, it could cause other issues, but understand that something like this is something that players WANT.
In the end, we won't care so much if you remove it if you understand that this is something that we would love to see as an official feature in the future, like double reward nightfalls, and all the way back, even Randall the Vandal got the same treatment that we would now love to see for this.

11 RepliesNo. It’s hard enough to get and keep a six man team together. That only increases as the numbers go up. The Division designed 8 man raids and they been ahem...underwhelming and problematic. Double the size of raid teams, that the problems associated with them will explode exponentially. More isn’t alway better.

Make an activity that supports that many players and if you're worried about filling up the team, then make an easy and hard mode that automatically does or doesn't do matchmaking. Menagerie did it.

1 ReplyWhat if we got a Training mode version of raids, were up to 9 people could run the raid. This would be a great way to teach new players mechanics and encounters without endlessly wiping because they keep messing up.

7 RepliesThe only reason we want and enjoy it is because it's funny and it makes the entire raid easy af. Even with a clan, nobody wants to regularly find 12 people to do a raid.

No we want matchmaking in raids far more better than LFG also expand nightfall modes for matchmaking this isnt about knowing what to do anymore LFGs are pretty extinct now from the toxicity of ppl leaving or want to get checkpoints so screw it matchmake everything

I enjoyed the Alliance Raids over in FFXIV, which are designed for 24 people. Wouldn't mind seeing Bungie take a crack at larger group content They are going to 100% fix this bug tho

12 man should be implemented just for fun. Not for a raid but a bullet sponge boss and to kill things.

5 RepliesI doubt ps4 and xbone would be able to handle it. I saw scrubs video of the different 12 man raids and those guys were having performance issues and big frame rate drops. Im not sure if those guys were on pc or console but assuming it was pc and they had decent ones I would wonder how the newer gen consoles would handle it also

No, it's something new and players in this game hunger for something new. It's rare and not everyone will do it, so people are grabbing the screenshots so they can say they were a part of the fad of the week. Don't misconstrue general excitement for targeted want. The part people are hype about is the new feel of it. Give it 2 months and put a grind behind it and this community with whine about it too. It's the newness and the exclusivity, that's all.

4 RepliesI can't speak for everybody, but personally what I've been wanting with destiny is just more FUN than grinds. Devils lair for example. Hundreds of ads spawning, the end screen is roughly 250 kills per member of the fireteam... It just feels so right trashing SO MANY ads. This 12-man glitch. It's making these encounters fun by the amount of sheer chaos going on (granted its making them 10x easier) but fun to have SO MUCH happening at once. Remember back in D1 with the strike scoring update that gave us modifiers such as daybreak? Supers constantly, spamming your abilities which got even stronger due to the burn modifiers?.. not the singe ones we have now which are just shadows of their former self. Dedtiny 2 has been lacking that fun factor for me personally for a while. Yes it's fine doing new activities and chasing loot. New storyline etc etc. But coming back even for 2hrs just to trash on some ads or cause chaos and enjoy that moment. So fun.

I like the idea 💡 f being able to have a few guys on ad clear only. Not everyone should have to handle a mechanic in raids. Sometimes you just need a role that is fun to entice new raiders into joining the mix

If World of Warcraft can do it. So can Destiny. Just add an LFR feature with dumbed down mechanics and lower power drops for people who have a hard time finding groups and have the true raid give you a better tier of gear.

just did last wish and dsc 12 man, we all did raids over 50 times, but have to admit 12 man was so much fun. most time 4 other guys trying to troll the rest team lol.
