Please pull a taken king or forsaken in beyond light
Bungie please pull a forsaken and taken king style in beyond light I would like to see the same hype and potential these expansions had in beyond light it would bring the fun back into destiny

We would all like that, but Destiny has some really lazy ass people behind it after Activision stopped forcing them to make actual content. We’ll probably get recycled content with recycled guns, 1 story mission that sets up 4 months of waiting for the next DLC. Maybe throw in an ok exotic community quest that they have tweak because they think people actually enjoy the game enough to do 1 million runs of the recycled public event. Man how does activision make a company better? Its the craziest thing i’ve ever seen. If anything hope for returning D1 exotics. Because they thrive on regurgitating content back into the destiny fan boy mouths while people who can actually think will say ‘this is just disappointing’ and leave for a game that actually releases new content.

I'm getting more and more concerned it's gonna be another shadowkeep. With them emphasizing their work on the new light origin story, and the 1 new strike for europa, it seems like they've split dev time between the two again. I hope I'm wrong...

4 RepliesExpect a Shallowkeep 2.0, if it is then you won't be too dissapointed, if its far more then it'll be a pleasant surprise. Personally I'll wait for reviews while enjoying one of the new consoles and Valhalla or Cyberpunk. D2 can stay on my Ps4.

Can’t see it. If shadowkeep was anything to go by what Bungie can do without activision that is. Taken king was good for 2015, a 5 year old DLC. It’s 2020 now. ALL content releases should be forsaken size and have plenty content as STANDARD.

19 RepliesNo chance. This is new greedy talentless Bungo, not old talented Bungie. Bungo / Bungie have always needed someone to hold a metaphorical flame to their backsides to get anything out. Now they have no one doing that, and no outside studio support (unless they are paying for it with all that EV greed...hahahaha) Currently they are working on what, Matter and something else for their new paymasters, so D2, as we have seen since release tbh, is low prioity, low quality. All the real talent, passion, skill, dedication and innovation has left Bungo. Consider the pure crapfest that D2 has been over the last three years...it will be worse over the next three as their greed and no skill really shines.

If not the Exodus will come for real this time with new Ps5 and alot of very good games around the corner.

Even if they did manage that, I would not pay for it. And I'm not alone in that. Bungie has been given a lot of second chances at this point. Their good will is spent. The Taken King was a second chance. Destiny 2 was a second chance. Forsaken was a second chance. The split from Activision was a second chance. Every time they've been given a second chance, they behave well for a little while, but slowly the bad behavior creeps back in and we're back to people leaving the game while others hope and pray that they will right the ship. There comes a point when it's time to admit that Destiny will never live up to the community's aspirations. And then it is time to move on.

After SK I have zero faith in them. All their effort probably went into the new subclass. They don’t have any help like they did with TTK and Forsaken so I see no way they can match that quality. You can’t do more with less in game development, especially when the core group that is left is the most incompetent lot.

I didn’t hear Bungie go on a massive hiring spree so I wouldn’t expect anything more substantive than Shadowkeep.

This is going to be shadowkeep 2.0 with the addition of new subclasses an actual new zone but then you subtract everything going away it’s a giant step back. The Destiny killer has finally came and it’s bungie

Tbh I give it too most of you that still hold hope after all the shit they have pulled. They dont even have help from the other two studios as well now and you people still hold hope. Cant wait to see the post's in November.

Actually I have reason to believe that Beyond Light will be good or almost as good as Forsaken/ Taken King because I think Beyond Light was originally meant for D3. That would mean that Beyond Light was being worked on while Activision was still around. If it is good that would probably be the reason why anyways. And if it's good it's likely to be the last good expansion we ever see. After that I'm expecting more Shadowkeeps.
