We have a submenu for the difficultly of the Nightfall: The Ordeal, why not a Crucible submenu to choose between SBMM or CBMM?

You can. It's called "Competitive."
We have a submenu for the difficultly of the Nightfall: The Ordeal, why not a Crucible submenu to choose between SBMM or CBMM?
They already can

10 RepliesBungie has ruined the only part of the game I still enjoyed, which is Crucible. Removing SBMM was a huge mistake. Today I just had it, they've lost me as a customer forever.
-
Lol this was asked for by the cbmm community the entire shadowkeep and every time we were told "stfu and go play classic mix" Now I return those words I earnest, go play survival or elimination.
-
You basically have that option now it’s called comp and quick play lol
-
Wouldn’t work because if a so called sweat wanted to stomp you they would have the choice to do so. They would just click cbmm and play like it is now. It’s the same as last season anyone who didn’t want to play sweat went to classic mix but it’s also were all the sweats went when they got fed up playing each other so you’d still play that person who could stomp a team.
-
You get better rewards in a higher difficulty nightfall. Would you be suggesting on that basis that lower tier players should also get less rewards and/or XP for essentially playing an easier version of the crucible?
-
I agree we need SBMM back. Give us a choice.
-
2 RepliesAwwww, they are so vulnerable when they don't have a safe space...
-
2 RepliesMost people would pick sbmm and this would just anger the sweats because they would be back to playing each other.

Fair Point
-
16 RepliesYou can already do this. If you want SBMM, use Survival/Comp or Elim. Those are the competitive game modes.
-
9 RepliesEdited by heat5360: 6/27/2020 4:26:05 AMfor qp yes. because comp is not a casual game mode. we need a sbmm in casual mode.

5 RepliesThis system works great in Halo 5, so I don’t see how it wouldn’t work in this game.
-
5 RepliesI like how the argument against this is that more people will choose SBMM. Yet, those same people claim that more people prefer CBMM?
-
They did. The majority chose sbmm and that gave streamers too much heartburn, so Bungie removed the choice. Now Comp is the only sbmm(sort of) choice... so it's either elimination or cbmm.
-
17 RepliesThe only way to get SBMM back is to have your voice heard. Make post on the forum asking for sbmm back. Like all the post that want it back. And stop playing crucible. And tell your friends and have them spread the word. Don't play crucible, Show Bungie how we feel. Boycott crucible tell your friends If you want your pinnacle rewards go play elimination or comp, let the sweats play each other this season. Ps. If I don't respond to you, that means your not worth my time or effort.
-
PLEASE!!
-
That’d be good, I do think if they want the longevity the crave then that’s a good way to go about it. Or a comp 6v6 mode
-
3 RepliesThe only thing the change has done for me is lower queue times. I have more laggy games now than before. There is no connection matchmaking. It's throw people in the queue to get the game started as quickly as possible. Shot around corners, ghost bullets, and always one choppy guy on the other team.
-
I’m hating the new system with a passion. I’m not a big PvP person, but I’ve never had matches stopped before this. Now I’m having them stopped half the time. I’ve been on both sides of a shut out and neither are fun. Absolute garbage.
-
The choice already exists. You choose comp for skill-based, and quickplay for connection-based. Adding that choice to every single playlist would raise matchmaking times to their peak.

5 RepliesSo Control and Classic mix like two weeks ago? Yeah like that worked.
-
We literally already had this and it didn’t work. Last season if you chose classic mix, you got cbmm and if you chose control, you got sbmm. The crucible player base plummeted.
