Don't you love it when you are venting &
Trying to also explain to people who may wonder & have asked why their group is not liked by older people, then someone else decides that you are making hate speech?
Yeah, I wasn't, but that is what happens when others decide to interpret what you are saying. Saying this will get me banned, but oh well. I really don't care anymore. I am tired of this stupidity.

Saw this video the other day by a Japanese guy who had always thought Americans were rude because they were loud and obnoxious. Visited the US and realized that people thought HE was rude because he was stand-offish. Came to realize what he thought was rude (asking personal questions) was considered friendly to Americans because they want to get to know you. People he had thought were assholes were actually trying to be friends with him, and they thought he was the asshole for blowing them off. Once he realized that, he ended making a lot of friends he got along really well with. It was just a matter of communication. [b] [/b] People need to learn to pull their heads out of their ass and actually listen to what other people are saying instead of just focusing on the words they themselves are hearing.

14 RepliesHonestly, I think it is disrespectful & hateful when others shove words in your mouth & try to decide you are being hateful. It is like how I live here in Texas & because I shave my head, people think I am racist, but only a few people bother to ask. I have more respect for people that ask me, than the zero respect I have for people who want to assume I am being hateful or disrespectful!
