PvP Left to Rot Once More
Weren’t we supposed to have a “pvp focused” season? I specifically recall Bungie mentioning a renewed focus on pvp in the recent past. Where is that? Forgotten? Deliberately ignored? Why wasn’t ToO acknowledged? Even if you’re going to leave it in the past, at least mention your intention to do so. It’s getting ridiculous.

5 RepliesWhat do you actually want them to say? There's plenty of modes, elimination is in crucible labs, some more maps coming. Granted he loot pool could do with a refresh but I'm not actually sure in the direction the players want it to go? Loads of complaints but very little in terms of ideas or thoughts.

Funny how people somehow think Trials is right around the corner when Bungie hasn't actually changed or overhauled anything in PvP since Forsaken. Just nerf a few things, buff a thing here or make other things useless in comparison.

5 RepliesAsked this in a few other threads and haven't gotten a straight answer. As a guy who used to live in Crucible, I ask, what more do you need? What is a PvP "Endgame?" Just saying that puzzles me. The whole point of PvP competition is to prove you're better than the rest. Honestly, what the -blam!- else is there to do? And don't give me the simple bullshit answer "to have fun" because that won't cut it. PvP is already in the game so go have fun already.

21 RepliesWe got a total change to how comp works. We now have 7 different playlists instead of 2. If that isnt change then you need to put on some glasses. Also...it is a PVE game. So they are not going to make a PvP season.

Trials isn't coming back anytime soon - this was talked about before shadow keep released- they have to fix crucible before trials returns- also, mentioned before shadow keep released What you seen in crucible during shadow keep are those changes made to improve crucible- and as you can see in just the forums alone- crucible (pvp) has not found it's sweet spot yet Though I heard the ranking system for comp was better and I personally enjoyed iron banner this season, it's obvious that trials isn't ready to return - not in either of its previous forms

1 ReplyHere is how I see it. ToO should not come back into D2 until PvP gets a MASSIVE overhaul or they make an actual rule set for competitive PvP. No exotic perks active, disable certain damage enhancing perks, disable pinnacle weapons, etc. The biggest issue with trials after the first few honey moon weeks was that the absolute worst in the game reared its ugly head and plagued Trials to the point it spilled over into standard PvP.

You get one map, and maybe a new ritual weapon to be revealed in the twab tonight. Oh and elimination will be a permanent mode. Yeah it's not very rewarding at all

3 RepliesI dont recall a pvp focused season. I seem to remember they were going to put more focus on PVP. I dont recall how much they promised, i dont think they specified. I'm guessing we are just getting small changes each season. What are you expecting?
