What a worthless seasonal preview
No pinnicles, dungeon, raid, trials- no vendor refresh, nothing of value.
I don’t care about more repurposed horde mode activities..I didn’t ask for it, nor did anyone for that matter..
And my salient complaint being the incongruity of the story- no urge to close the story arc with savathun, the dreaming city and uldren?! How about the darkness on Luna?? Nope- the cabal are back..absurdity

They have been worthless since last year. This used to be free live content. Should be free. I'd pay $10 subscription for a year of seasons like this. No more.. Bungie puts a horde mode on a three week rotator time gates advancement and pinnacle rewards and call that content. Fan boys applaud. :( It's why we cant have nice things. I'll just shoot people in the head in crucible...make me feel like I'm getting money worth training tryhards who watch a cool guy or aztecross video and think that load makes a difference. You lost anyway. Try having fun. Dont send me messages because you suck running jotun or recluse and get mercied. That's a you problem. Lol..its f$%&ing quickplay it's ok to use a Helios HC1 or old fashioned.

I have found destiny is only worth playing when the bigger expansion comes out. I usually only play this game September through October. Idk why but D1 I played year round no problem but D2 just doesn’t hold a candle to the original game

I just want continuity within the destiny story(ies) i want to deal finish up with Uldren, i want to know what the consequences to being a dredgen is, i want to see the darkness, i want to fight them, and i want it to be an experience i never forget. I want to know what happens next with rasputin. I want to fight along osiris and have the craziest battles with the vex, i want it to be so nuts that we have to retreat to other time lines in order to reengage safely. This is really why i play destiny.. for the story and mainly raids.

Honestly, show them with your wallet then. I don't personally expect a raid every 2-3 months, that creates more crota's ends, EoW, and SoS's.

I just checked out the Season Of The Yawn stream and came here to see if I was the only one wondering where the new content was. Looks like I’m out again. What a joke. 🤦♂️

Bungie has to give us some new way to earn Pinnacles in the next Season. Even if it's just the hard mode for the Sundial. If the only sources of Pinnacle gear for the next Season continue to be the Raid, Dungeon, Nightfall, Nightmare Hunts, and Iron Banner, everyone is going to get so sick of those activities before we even make it to January.

Not terrible for $10 if we manage our expectations despite Bungie’s uber-talented hype machine. Actual gameplay content: - new 6-man PVE arena activity - 1 or 2 exotic quests - 1 to 3 cutscenes to explain why the new arena exists in the context of the continuing narrative (3 when they are (re)introducing characters) ...and that’s it. But that’s not so terrible for $10 IMHO. Then we also get Loot: - 2 updated armor sets - 3-5 updated weapons - battlepass lootstream Now I personally don’t count inventory items as “content” when considering the value of DLC but for those that do I think the rewards in the pass might exceed $10 in silver. Am I happy that the seasons aren’t content-rich? Not at all. But objectively the value isn’t all that bad, and I find that it only actually bothers me when I fall for their marketing hype.

1 ReplyIf anything I was kind of hoping they'd show off some of the subclass changes but all I saw was the warlocks little fire cracker hand and it didn't look to impressive. Maybe the extra hover time when you eat it, but if playing destiny for 5+ years has taught me anything, you die fast as shit when you stay in the air too long. Soooo.... there's that.

What else do you expect for $10? I'm really baffled at people expecting an entire expansion sized content drop for the seasons at the current price point
