PVE crossplay would allow PC players to carry console clients through some of the more difficult raids. Just sayin...

Unlikely theyll do PS4 and PC cross play. The games just straight up don't function the same way. Until we get a console version that runs the same as the PC version, that's not gonna happen. But for PS4 and Xbox people, no excuse to not turn it on. Boost the playerbase on console. Only problem, and Bungie needed to do this 5 years ago..the game needs actually social features, so clan chat, LFG, ect

I hate cross play, it tends to create more problems than solutions. Inless a game is made with cross play specifically in mind from the very beginning it only makes issues. Plus the pc version of this game is so much easier. Guns are much smoother, almost no recoil on anything, movement in general is much faster and responsive. And they have a much wider field of view. So if Bungie did do cross play it would have to be Xbox and PlayStation only. If they put pc players in pvp against console players every console player would be obliterated no matter how good they were. But having said that, the game is so dead right now having cross play between the 2 consoles would make matchmaking a little better. It might even make lag a little better.

6 RepliesThe game plays completely differently on PC and console. They’d either have to change console to be more like PC or restrict it to pve. But even then, m&k will still have an advantage over controller because m&k is easy mode for shooters

I'm not trying to here console players complain about PC having a unfair advantage. If console makers would like to allow M&K to exist on their platform I'd be alright with it.

PvE yes, PvP no. PC has a huge advantage over console in PvP it’s not even a competition. From the non existent recoil, Crazy FPS to quickly switching weapons/armor on the fly. They would absolutely murder console players.

They should do this for PvP and PvE, and for all games, not just Destiny. I've been playing CoD the last couple of days with a mix of PC and console players. The console players I've come up against don't seem to have any issues against PC players. Good players clean up. Bad players die a lot. Unfortunately with my old man reflexes I fall into the later category.

Consoles... Yes. Console and pc? Not in any form. Not pvp not pve but simply occupying the same space in the tower. Just... No.

Cross-play between Consoles is fine, but not between Console and PC. The game is just way too different on PC.
