*Spoilers* What if we never left...
... the pyramid. Just a thought I was having this morning. The end of that campaign was sort of jarringly abrupt.
We come face-to-face with a manipulated version of ourselves, and then the screen goes black and we're suddenly back on the moon surface? I don't buy it.
Maybe I'm putting a little too much faith in the writers at Bungie. But what if we're still in the pyramid?
What if we never left?
What if it has us now?
It already proved to us that it can possess our ghosts.

The abrupt ending was because it’s only an expansion (which always have short campaigns) and the story will continue throughout the following seasons. I’d be more concerned about wether or not we ever left the Vault of Glass or the Infinite Forest…

Personally, I think it would be too long of a play for them to start something now and finish it some other time. Perhaps if it was done in the new season pass, but if it was some d3 or next expansion, then I doubt it. Especially since they said “you don’t want this expansion but you want the next one? fine."
