All other arguments posted here aside, here’s a hypothetical question: If one or more of these items for some reason show up available for purchase with bright dust before the end of the season, how would you interpret that? Would you think that perhaps the reddit post was flawed in some way and that the devs had indeed planned for these items to be purchasable for bright dust and they simply had not made it into the rotation yet? Or would you assume that the devs reacted to the reddit post and made the items available for bright dust to save face? (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

I’m torn... On the one hand, I’m not surprised because Eververse keeps getting worse and worse. On the other hand, we had the same 3 nightfalls for a month once... so this could just be a classic Bungle mistake.

I know that they said they would be more transparent, but I’m still rubbed the wrong way after the XP Throttling from Year 1 and this doesn’t boost my confidence in them in the least bit. I don’t recall them saying if there was even a single Season 7 EV cosmetic that would solely be restricted to silver purchase.

There was mention that not everything would available for dust. I think (best guess) that some of these items will available for bright dust... perhaps on the front page (usually weapon ornaments), rather than the bright dust section itself? Annoyingly I received the Titan ornament well before it was actually released, but unlocked it before getting OEM to drop... really wish I hung on to that, but I didn't realise at the time!
