Your way of Pvp Bungie is horrible, you don't even balance the way grenades work or melee. I need to melee them 3 times when they only have to do it 2. They way the supers are working is also horrible. I die quickly when I use a super, but when the other guy is using their super, they don't die as quick as I did. What's the logic with that? When I think of Bungie, I think of some developers that have no idea how to make a game. The only thing they know is how to model the game make the game work, but doesn't know how to balance the game. The level of balance is lower than a Call of Duty match. Fix your trash as a game.

Y1 of D1 was the best time for PvP. They should have separated PvE and PvP, but they don't want to do that, because work is hard.

Hey Devs, do us a favor; eliminate pvp and take those resources and put them toward developing more pve content. Pvp has ruined this game with all the crying about nerfs and balance. Just get rid of it.

If you are low light in IV you are at a disadvantage. Otherwise it’s 2 melees. -

22 RepliesIn my honest opinion they should just remove pvp entirely, most of the people play the game for pve anyways. If they cared at all about crucible they would add stuff for it in the dlc besides just a new weapon.

Sometimes armour stats come into play. A higher Resilience Guardian will sometimes require a two-hit melee even with a fully charged melee.

If you're in Iron Banner thats called power level advantage. Please read the playlist details, it clearly specifies this. When 10 power under you will still be relatively even weapons wise but abilities will be stronger against you and weaker against your opponent very noticeably. 20 power under gunfights will start to feel lopsided but thats the whole point. Iron Banner has always been about light/power level and then overall skill second. The skill portion was handled by Trials. In short, if you wish to succeed in Iron Banner power up to at least 10 below max power.

Well when you’re weapons have an optimal ttk of under 1 second, and spawning with special ammo every time you die as well as scavenger mods, and super mods being able to stack on all your armor, and roaming supers being roaming tanks... Yeah you could imagine it’s hard to balance around all of that.

3 RepliesI hate the easy 1 hit kill non power weapons like Jotunn, shotguns, fusion guns. Also the amount of ammo these weapons get. Same with the amount of power ammo in crucible. It is too much! Then the unbalanced class abilities. Everybody is always complaining about hunters. But unlike a warlock with handheld supernova and titan with the shoulder charge they don't have a 1 hit kill ability. I would love to see the 1 hit kill tripmines coming back for the hunter. Double with the ahamkhara gloves. Grenades for hunters are also terrible. Warlocks have arc web and strong grenades on arc just like the titan. Skips on a hunter barely track anything or track too slow and hardly do damage. While titan has 2 pulse grenades which can block people for over 10 seconds to pass a hallway or defusing or capturing it is just stupid! Then you have the triple overshield on titans oh and they also have rally baricades to save themselves. Warlock has a nice rift to heal himself all the time. What does a hunter have? Oh dodge and you get your ammo back... The only thing that is in favor of the hunter is agility. They can move quicker but not faster. Because somehow titans and warlocks are also moving faster.

Aside from maybe one weapon, PVP is rather balanced.

The problem is that there are way to many OP weapons. It's nice to have them ingame but some should seriously get locked for PvP.

This is sadly due the fact that destiny’s pvp is not 100% separate from pve part of game. Had it been like their halo game it would be a different story as they would have done a great job balancing it.
