1000 Voices RNG is broken AF
I am sick of completing 3 runs each week of Last Wish and not getting 1K to drop. In the past 3 weeks, I have had all clan members get at least one. I am the last one that needs it to drop. 33+ clears and nothing... One clan member got two 1Ks back to back runs last week. Just got another one tonight. She already had one before these last week, so that's a total of FOUR. DAMN. 1Ks. I am pissed. Fix your RNG or put a quest behind it so I have a damn chance of getting it cause apparently this game hates me. I'm sure people are going to make fun or post "I got it on my 1st run". Go ahead. I don't care anymore. Just really disappointed and tired of missing out. #bungie #1k #RNGesushatesme

And the people who got it legit get a 5 percent aoe buff and the people who whined about it get a 7 percent aoe nerf then I’ll be fine

5 RepliesHonestly such a powerful weapon shouldn't be locked up entirely behind rng it should be more like ep where the more times you complete it the higher the drop percentage is.

I have a buddy who played all 3 years of D1 and never got Vex Mythoclast to drop.

55 LW clears and still no 1k. 27 SotP clears and 2 anarchy drops. 1k is all I need for rivensbane so I feel your pain.

3 RepliesTotally agree , never got vex from d1 , my wife decides to run the raid because she’s bored , for the first time , and she jokingly says out loud how funny it would be if 1k dropped on her first try. Safe to say she got it , first try , so I feel your pain lol. And I still don’t have vex either til this day lol .

1 ReplyI got it on run 49 Rng isn’t broken what your describing is exactly what rng is. There’s now a one in ten chance so not getting in 9 runs is about a 40% it’s not even that unlucky

1 ReplyBruddah, I've yet to COMPLETE the raid! However, I do feel your pain. Gjallahorn was my white elephant as it NEVER dropped for me. Not once. It dropped for everyone else. Whether it was raids, strikes, NF, or weekly bounties...it...never...dropped...

I‘ve got a clanmate who killed the ogre at least 60 times. Didnt get the curated nation of beasts yet. It drops only for the other fireteam members. This is so frustrating :D

I actually agree that raid exotics should have quests tied to them, not just RNG. That's what made Touch of Malice, Outbreak Prime, and Legend of Acrius so great yet also so not flexworthy. But dude, you're doing the best thing you can do. Farm Riven 3x and do the walk once. Maybe 45 minutes tops per week for 3 chances? I think only farming Atheon & Crota was faster.

2 RepliesRan Last Wish only twice first time got 1000 voices and glittering key. Second time got a fully Masterwork chattering bone and 1000 voices again.... I don't think I have anything productive to add except I would like some armor >____>

I got it on 69th(not a joke) clear after my regular raid had enough for 2 or 3 other teams. It will drop, you just have to be patient.

29 RepliesRNG Broken AF You see how these two things contradict each other, right...? [b]R[/b]andom [b]N[/b]umber [b]G[/b]enerator That first word there. Random. There's a 10% chance it drops per key. All that means is that every time you use a key, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY KEYS YOU'VE USED, an invisible wheel of luck spins. The wheel has a number of spaces on it, the spaces all different sizes depending on the drop chance of every item it offers. 1k takes up 10% of the wheel space. If it doesn't land on the 1k space, then that's that. Your next key doesn't take into account previous attempts. It behaves as though you've never used one before. So.. no. The [b]RNG[/b] isn't broken AF. It's working exactly as it should. What you're looking to complain about is the lack of a drop threshold/bad luck protection in raids (which they don't need, raids are endgame content afterall and should be grindy). I got 1K on attempt #15. I got Glittering Key on attempt #20. I got Anarchy on attempt #4. I got Always on Time on attempt #6. RNG is inconsistent. That's the whole point.
