Giving up on comp
It just isn’t worth the grind anymore, to many hunters with blade barrage and dodge and Luna’s howl to the point where earning it won’t even feel worth it anymore

i agree with you, comp is filled with unbalanced matchmaking, blade barrage hunters, players who are better than you, and almost always trash teammates

Titans with one-hit melee (skating on PC and autorecharging with skullfort) and one-eyed mask, the most broken D2 pvp exotic EVER are wayyyyyyy more problematic.

You're right and bungie has not acknowledged a single thing when it comes to comp. I guess theyre liars in respect to being transparent on issues. Played 3 or 4 matches lost 2 one team had 3 lunas and one not forgotten on top of the grenade launcher spam . frankly im getting tires of bungies laziness with pvp and frankly im close to uninstalling d2 if they dont start responding

Ngl, doesn't seem worth the stress. I've outshot LH/NF here and there with Redrix, Perdition, Rabbit, etc. Hard to counter, sure. But play YOU, you know? Try not not let others dictate what you do.

8 RepliesHey, don't worry and don't quit. I've had a terrible time tonight. My first fail, going at it solo. Second fail was thinking 'brave rank? Easy'. Played a good 10 matches or so and had mostly a bad time. Seems like there are a lot of players probably just trying it out. I didn't queue dodge, just took it as it come. I'm an "average" player going by stats I think, and it was rough. Probably best to leave it a few days, let the better players get out of guardian and then give it another try. That's what I'll be doing because I'm not good enough to carry others, and I pretty much know my skill level.

17 RepliesLook comp is for skilled players, the grind is worth it have you seen Not Forgotten? It took me days to get after getting a good team and grinding hard. Luna's howl doesn't have that good of range. So stop whining and either play comp and understand that it is for skilled players or go back to quickplay

You’re running around with Sturm/Drang or Suros/Long Walk. No decent player is going to lose to you if they have a sweaty loadout in comp.

Not saying this us you but far too often people play comp like its quickplay. It's not it's a completely different game. If you loosing a lot either change up how you move with your team or just get better

18 RepliesAs a gay hunter I take offense to this post. The first set of matches are always going to be horrible. You just have to play more until the game gets an idea of how good you are. I got Luna's solo last season and have lost way more than I have won so far but even though its irritating we just have to keep playing and try to do our best.
