Question if you’ve been getting exotics.
What activity or activities have you been getting them from the most?

Drop from random enemies during patrols

Anywhere really, even just patrol. But my team always has fireteam medallions active so that probably helps a bit.

I have gotten most of my exotic drops from running the blind well in the Dreaming City along with popping a fireteam medallion.

One was from an orange bar wizard on IO near where the portal for the exotic sniper, and the other one was a drop yesterday from a small blocker in Gambit. All other exotics I have earned have come from rank packages. EDIT: Played a game of Gambit not long after posting this, and got Two-Tailed Fox as my daily power engram reward.

1 ReplyHonestly, a few having just been dropping in the wild... like, random exotic engram sitting on the ground. Try higher tier blind well maybe? Other than that, milestones.

Got a trinity ghoul from the hive knight high value target on titan. Sixth coyote from nightfall powerful reward, Gwisin vest from Blind Well, another chaperone from a crucible match, Gemini jester from a powerful bounty, wardcliff from gambit blockers, merciless from Blind Well, ophidia spathe from a yellow bar. Generally just kill yellow bars and do powerful gear.

Got black talon from gambit the other day , and lord of wolves dropped today from another gambit match . So gambit . 😂

I got a couple doing a heroic public events. Some were from turning in bounties.

For new exotics, spider bounty I got lord of wolves. Heroic strike was two tailed fox. Trinity Ghoul just fell out of a mass of bodies.

Just got Veper of Radiance from a weekly bounty n the Dreaming City. Got one yesterday will killing random Vex on Nessus.

1 ReplyI found my personal jackpot. A few weeks ago I did the 3 heroic story mission milestone and got the Black Talon. A few days ago I did it again and got Trinity Ghoul. During a nightfall a red bar cabal dropped Gwisin Vest. I barely get to play so I feel pretty lucky. Also, same as D1, being bad at the game gets you good stuff. Confirmed👍🏼

Raid activities and gambit enemies. Last one was unobvious for me, i think thats because there is a lot of major enemies

4 RepliesI got 5 forsaken exotics. I'm a filthy casual. I don't raid, nitefall, or play competitive. I'm currently 550 power. I got black talon from a public event on the tangled shore. Ursa arms from the fanatic story mission. Trinity ghoul from a strike, lord of the wolves from spiders bounties and queensbreaker dropped in Amanda's mission on Io.
