SoH and bugged matchmaking has brought an imbalance into quickplay PvP
During my time now doing SoH I've come to realize that all of the hard core pvpers are now 6 maning Quickplay to get the armor done.
Now with Matchmaking broken this has become a major problem because it is now a hell of alot harder to get the 5 crucible wins for the blue armor set as a solo player. Now with this event being exclusive to all members of the community I am slightly worried for them a they are more than likely not going to get past this stage without a serious grind to the point of throwing something at the screen.
Yes people can turn around and say, oh just get good at PvP but i am a PvE player and I've completed all of the prestige content as that is where I thrive. PvP not so much but when I wanted a grind i didn't want something that is near impossible.
Also with matchmaking broken, it is more frequent that you are being match again 4+ premade groups which is near impossible to defeat. All I ask is that Bungie get onto the matchmaking asap because if you want people to get this armor then they are not going to get it because of the major -blam!- up you have done.

6 RepliesNo. If you’re a PvE player that barely plays PvP why are you complaining? You’d be complaining if the MM wasn’t set to no parameters. There are not tons of 4-6 stacks. Rarely run into them and if you were smart you’d just watch the roster for big fireteams and back out before the match started. It’s hilarious that you would rather have SBMM than CBMM. If you’re trying to practice to get better - go private matches. You don’t need Bungie holding your hands all the time. SBMM rarely lets you see how you’re improving because they dictate outcomes most of the time trying to give you a 50/50 win rate.

2 RepliesI had to quit around 10 games before I got my 5 wins. Not bothering to hang around when I’m getting stomped when I don’t want to be playing crucible to start with.

1 ReplyIt absolutely is not more frequent to be matched with fire teams, before 6v6 started every time I played PvP solo which is very often, I versed fire teams and lost 75% of matches regardless of my own score. Now I rarely see fire teams and even when I do I can still win.

Yes, the matchmaking kind of sucks, but come on. The requirements aren't asking that much of you here. If you can't manage to bang out 5 wins, 30 super kills and 10 normal kills in 28 days maybe you should git gud, or just wait a few days for mayhem.

In about 10 games to get super kills, I only ran into a fire team of more than two once. Maybe I'll find it's more common when I'm grinding for my 5 wins.
