Flashpoint Solo?
I did my public events by myself. I had to do 4 instead of 3 to get my flashpoint to 100% because I failed one. There was nobody there to help me. I went to orbit and came back and still had to do 2 more public events by myself. That's never happened before, for me. We hear all the noise on the forums and take it with a grain of salt. But this hit home, it really could be over. Sucks.

E = S By the transitive property: F = S I see it now... the reason why I've disagreed with the notion of "Friendship" as the endgame until now is because I was doing it wrong. I should have been looking for friendship by myself. Solo. It's all so clear. How could I have missed it? I should be my own best friend. *Mind Blown*

3 RepliesI think bungie is throttling our dps and increasing add dps. Something stupid is going on more stupid then usual. Heroic strikes are increasingly difficult suddenly and seems as if they’re purposely making the time to complete longer. Or is it our guardians are just pussies!

I went back to D1 and every single time a public event dropped, someone else was there to do it with me.

I fast travel to the spawn point closest to the PE. Usually after a couple of tries there will be other players.

Heroic public events give more completion percentage than regular events... So if you were just doing regular events it will take almost twice as long compared to if you were running heroic events...

You’ll probably find some Guardians hiding in fortnite, warframe, pubg or monster hunter world. Me, I’m on Netflix instead!

I'm on Xbox and a friend and I completed the flashpoint milestone. Each public even we did, there at least 3-4 other guardians at each one. Even on titan in general, there were other guardians everywhere. There are times where I'll be doing the flashpoint, or farming public events in general, where there will not be a single soul on the planet with me, and i'l l back to orbit and back down, with no one. Then the next day, BAM, guardians everywhere.

2 RepliesI have to solo Public Events all the time, some times you just don't get matched with anyone... It doesn't help that most everyone is moving on to other games that actually have things to do. Personally, I've reinstalled Destiny 1 and have been enjoying it.

Zone out and back in until there are other players in the instance, I never Flashpoint with less than 2 other player, using this technique. Player numbers are dwindling, but there are still enough that you shouldn't need to solo public events, you just need to know the tricks.

Get used to playing solo. On the plus you will be a better, albeit lonely, gamer.

Don’t hit orbit, just fast travel to your same marker.

1 ReplyHere's a clue. If you're there at the PE on your own, immediately go to fast travel, and fast travel back to the [i]same[/i] PE. Lotsa times, and in fact all the times I've done it, you get put back with some players. Of course the event has started, but you're not far into it. Dunno why this is. Maybe the system actually looks for an active event to put you in.

3 RepliesI’m noticing less and less players everyday. Used to never have to reorbit or speed travel. It’s only proving the destiny population is dwindling at an alarming rate. Not sure if anyone’s noticed the heroic strikes have become as difficult as nightfall’s up until the 3rd try on the boss. Adds and bosses become more spongy, ridiculous amounts of adds and guardians less health and slower health regeneration. Armor perks not working weapon perks not working etc etc. The rewards are garbage for the amount of time they expect us to invest into this repetitive dull game. We’re supposed to be space super hero’s, but feels like we’re nothing but cockroaches to the aliens.

well after reset it certainly drops off with the huge drop in player it certainly dropped again. If your PC its even worse for those people..

2 RepliesYou just need to re-travel to the point on the map to get re-instanced, no need to go all the way to orbit. (Unless you're on Mercury which has no separate points on the map)

1 Replyi believe it’s due to internet connection. when i moved house i always had guardians to play with but when i was waiting for my net to be installed i used my phone as a personal hotspot and i would never get anyone to do them with.
