PSA: Heroic Blight Is Easier And Faster
If people would stop shooting the small blights and making us chase all over the map for the moved blight and would just let those of us who know what we're doing and blow up the big blight in the first try, it goes a lot faster, it is easier, and it rewards better. SO STOP SHOOTING THE SMALL BLIGHTS!

It was annoying when me and another guy would try to spawn the heroic but 1 or 2 others would use their supers and rocket launches to wipe out all of the enemies and mini-blights. One time we got the thing heller low and BOOP. I see the Stormcaller sweeping up and a guy the Exotic Fusion working on the mini blights. NOOOOOOoooooooooo Things is, they were like 270+ and still didn't know. I would be fine if they were still sub-20 and in the high 100's or even low 200's. But these people were into the end-game and didn't know.

6 RepliesMan ppl are dumb. I leave that event when blueberries are killing the blights. Kill the ads you idiots. Slide under the blight for a 4 second buff to damage the main blight. Rinse repeat. Heroic.

2 RepliesI find it hilarious when I get to a public event.. 3-4-5 players and I choose to try to get it to a heroic event.. why wouldn't you take notice of the guy shooting the big ball in the sky, shooting the ship as it comes in, shooting the small box by the glimmer extractor etc.. do these guardians think i'm an idiot.. people just have no clue sometimes.. and then you get the group of three who plow through a public event in 30 seconds. this is how it should be.

1 ReplyI sent a message to a party of 2 I randomly had to work with for one of these, they spent the entire time killing the adds while I plugged away at the blight, chasing it around as they unnecessarily moved it around Io, just barely killing and triggering the heroic before they killed everyone. After completing it (they had no idea it was 100% me who enabled it), I sent a non-offensive message saying the heroic is from killing the blight, not adds. Long pause while the guy clearly struggles to type a response...a sarcastic "ooo you are so cool!" Oh well, I tried. So much for the people on here suggesting we teach instead of complain...

9 RepliesYou have to realize that not every person knows how to trigger heroic events. As hard as it may be to comprehend, there are casuals out there that don't look at the forums, don't watch Destiny Youtube videos and are just not as knowledgeable as some of us. If it bothers you this much, the next time it happens shoot them an in game message and educate them on how to do it. I've done this, and the players flat out said they had no idea how to do that and thanked me

Well Public Events are Destiny 2's end game, maybe you should have tried LFG.

Its what happens when you make a casual game for casuals, they play it casually. Most of them dont realise heroic events exist.
