You asked for fundamental changes. I named quite a few. Then, I used Halo for an analogy regarding D2. If your feeble mind is too small to understand the conversation I thought you knew you were part of, then I cannot help you. Using another game to prove a point about D2 is not only relevant but a very effective way to prove a point. My point is that sequels do not have to be fundamentally different to be good.

You know what that word means right? Or do you keep forgetting it's literally the same engine from D1. A fundamental change would dedicated servers. Sadly we're not getting those.

Firstly, what is this engine you speak of? Are you a computer programmer? Do you create engines for video games? Do you even in the slightest know what components make up an "engine"? Secondly, Bungie has openly admitted that the "engine" is quite different from D1. Thirdly, you left all of my other replies out: "4v4, newish servers, set rolls on weapons, ttk changes, no OHK abilities, new subclasses, new design for subclass customization, using two primaries in any activity, moving OHK weapons to heavy slot, new maps, etc" ^^^ Now, does that meet the definition of fundamental??? Id be willing to bet it does. Perhaps it is you that needs to brush up your understanding of the word.
