I'm just wondering because this update looks like a list of nerfs and one buff then what Bungie calls "Balancing".
I was mainly ready for buffs or changes for Exotics like:
The First Curse
Hawkmoon
Thorn
The Fourth Horseman
Zen Meteor
Patience and Time
Dragons Breath
Oh and let's not forget the weakest and most useless Exotic in the game
KHVOSTOV 7G-0X
Honestly were they that focus on nerfing Shotguns (That clearly didn't need a nerfs) and HRoF Pulse Rifles ( The only thing needed to change was High Cal Rounds) that they forgot to buff some Exotics that need some love in this game.
Let me know how you guys feel about this update and what you guys thought was going to change.

5 RepliesOf course Bungie buffed exotics, just look at Truth, Suros and Red Death, they got big buffs. ;)
-
Next you are going to say the truth needs to actually fire rockets and kill stuff..... Lmao - "exotic" you say....... Funniest thing I have read on the forums

-
I don't think exotics were ever meant to be better per se. They just have a good perk combo and/or some ability gimmick.
-
1 ReplyAutobots roll out!
-
No they did not forget because there are no exotics in destiny
-
2 RepliesHawkmoon and Thorn are great though
-
2 RepliesAdd "Astrocyte Verse"
-
1 ReplyYeah... I was actually hoping there was going to be a whole list of exotic changes. For the better. Boy was I wrong...
-
3 RepliesYay! Buff to Young Wolves Howl!
-
5 RepliesLOL. Why should Bungie bother buffing exotics?? As soon as they do, the Whiner Brigade starts complaining about them being OP. "Make exotics more powerful.....nerf Shinobu's Vow". What is Bungie supposed to do with that idiotic logic?
-
3 RepliesNone of those need buffs. None of the exotic weapons in the game need buffs, they're all fine where they are.
-
did you say nerf truth?
-
I was looking forward to bring out some lost forgotten exotics out of the vault but the said. HAVE A NERFED TRUTH KID
-
Yeah, all that horseshit about buffing exotics was just that; horseshit.
-
Say they're going to fix their game, alleviate my suffering and my pain, but by the time they fix it all mentally ill be dead

Edited by CheeseBags: 2/15/2017 8:38:40 PMWhat bungie forgot, is how to make a good game. Well, it was a good game, in year 1 and year 2.

The First Curse
There's not much it lacks. It's a precision weapon and should be used as such.
Hawkmoon
You do realise the Hawkmoon is not only fine, but it's one of the only viable exotic hand cannons, right?
The Fourth Horseman
Works fine if you know what you're doing.
Zen Meteor
No amount of buff can save this weapon from being fundamentally flawed in design.
Patience and Time
See above.
Dragons Breath
It does what it does quite well. Any more powerful and nobody would ever use anything else in PvP.
KHVOSTOV 7G-0X
The Khvostov was affected by several of the changes and is actually quite decent now.

Bungie is revolted by buffs.
-
Hawkmoon is very viable again dude.

4 RepliesPersonally I believe that The First Curse got an indirect buff due to how bloom works now. Since first shot accuracy being incredibly important, and subsequent shots getting worse if you don't pace yourself. Low RoF Handcannons like TFC will show up more often. They have high enough damage that the range dropoff doesn't affect them as much, so you can build around something like stability more than range. That way your next shots will be just as accurate hopefully. Unfortunately this means that Hawkmoon and Thorn get hit hard and worse, in that respect. Can't say much about the others though.

1 ReplyHawkmoon and thorn wreck now.
-
Well, I guess now we just gotta wait and hope that some content drops soon and that they announce another patch. Because auto rifles still freaking suck!

I was just about to post you forgot khvostov until I looked down more 😂
