How is vog the hardest raid.. i guess theres a lot of noobs here

I own a Ferrari and have never exceeded 25mph. Same useless concept.

It just seemed that way because it was the first of it's kind, and not everyone knew what to expect or what the hell was going on. People still say Vault was their favorite. But if you really look at it there's not much special about it. Rewards were waaaay better. I didn't get to run it hardly ever because of life at the time, but even I thought it was amazing. But looking back now I can't ready describe why. Rose Tinted Glasses I guess.

It's not special, but people people refuse to move on. That's why. What do you do at confluxes and oracles? Clear waves of enemies, and after that, you kill a boss that only has one mechanic, and all that is basically half of the raid. It's an overrated raid.

I think it's just nostalgia. It was the first one and felt epic and hard because of light level and stuff. The best gear had a chance to drop here. But as far as the raids go, it was really good but honestly not much different than the next raid.

The steel madula is okay, but not as good as the timepiece. Found verdict is much better than the wrath shotty, praedyth's revenge is much better than the wrath sniper, praetorian foil is much better than the wrath fusion, the wrath rocket launcher is ass, and corrective measure is 10000x better than the wrath lmg. I would take genesis chain over atheon's epilogue, thats about it tho

Praedyth's revenge is really good, but it doesn't beat a much higher impact sniper that has spray and play AND wait for it. That's a lot more DPS. I always outdamage my teammates in the raid while using this sniper. The VoG fusion has perks that increases damage. Those are bad perks for a fusion because they already do a lot of damage and if you are good with a fusion, most of your kills will be one shot (PvP) without using those perks, especially THAT fusion because it has high impact. The WOTM fusion gives you more benefits. VoG MG and RL aren't bad, but they aren't better. with WOTM MG you feel you can fire that weapon forever and the rocket has spray and play and wait for it, which means it can match VoG's RL tripod while also reloading much faster. The pulse rifles of both raids aren't that great, but I would give an edge to WOTM because it has HCR and its damage buff perk is better than VoG fusion damage buff perk. Also, WOTM weapons do more damage to fallen, so there's that.

Edited by bFLY: 2/8/2017 2:01:26 AMI like the wotm sniper, obp is cool too if you have the energy to complete the quest. Everything else is OK at best. Vog had a great scout, handcannon, vex, auto rifle and shotgun. The sniper and fusion rifle were pretty good too.

That's because you didn't start playing the game until 2 months before TTK was released. You were overleveled when you did your first VoG completion on 5/31/15. Going into hm VoG as a level 26-29 during vanilla was MUCH harder than ttk as LL 300-310.

No it wasn't. The average not max level for VoG running was 29 anyway. You would be very hard pressed to find even lvl 30 willing teammates to pick up less than a 29. King's Fall is the longest and most complex raid hands down.

I played 7 months before ttk i did vog at 29 light and had a good team.. most people saying vog was easy have like a .80 kd

People can have an opinion. However calling people noob because he got to play VOG overleveled... just so damn ignorant. First time vog: 14hours First time KF: 7hours I agree the mechanics were more difficult in KF. But the ads were way easier to handle compared to vanilla vog.
