Is the most annoying primary in a while. In year 2 I hated the hawksaw because soooo many people used it but now I have to deal with this monstrosity. I'm not crying for nerfs or anything just saying it pisses me off when I die to one.

Clever Dragon is fine. The problem is that most other primary weapons suck due to excessive nerfing.
-
4 RepliesClever dragon, grasp and waltz all the same weapon
-
Dead, is dead, is dead. Who cares what the bullet came out of? I would not be any less dead if it came from a different gun.
-
Anything that's overused is annoying and feels cheap. Just be different and kill em with something else. It's matador that's gets my back up as it's clearly the best shotty, however I don't think clever dragon is a better weapon than others. I find it fun killing clever dragons and matadors with something else. The more people that do the quicker people move on....in theory.

2 RepliesAll Primaries should feel as good as the Clever Dragon to be honest. #BuffPrimariesALittleBitDeej

4 RepliesI'm using it cause I got smallbore, rangefinder and high caliber bullets on mine
-
4 RepliesThe only really annoying thing about it, is the ridiculous flinch.
-
I have no problems competing against it, it's more that it gets boring when nobody uses other weapons. Can't blame people though, it's the best and easiest to obtain primary out there.
-
5 RepliesI swear I feel like everyone complaining about this is a year 2/3 player.
-
Nope the outbreak prime is. Every time I hear it i cringe and leave whatever I'm doing

6 Repliesmeh ... if I had to deal with everyone and their little brother using a Thorn for 6 months, you can handle everyone using a legendary Pulse Rifle for two weeks. Bungie will nerf it into the ground eventually and you'll never see one again. Plus, it's actually a fun gun to use. I do think the flinch should be toned down just a bit, but other than that, it's fine. It's not OP'd, and at least people are using a -blam!-ing primary weapon for once. Let's just enjoy that while it lasts. Pretty soon, it will be nothing but Matador 64's again. And nobody likes that.

2 RepliesIt's going to get nerfed Such a low impact weapon should not cause so much flinch It has infinite range too It definitely needs to be rebalanced
-
4 RepliesIt certainly is annoying to deal with; especially when it has High Calibre Rounds. I just can't keep my aim trained on their head when I'm being flinched that much. And I cant really combat it with one of my own as not a single weapon dropped for me this Iron Banner (aside from bounties) and I got about a quarter of the way into rank 4.
-
Why do you get upset about the gun that killed you?
-
I agree. It's annoying. But that's it. Just annoying.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
2 RepliesI honestly think just like with the Palindrome, Bungie is trying to give the average player access to top tier PvP weapons. Majority of people don't have the time to grind while praying to RNGesus for a top tier roll. Just wait till The Distant Star comes into rotation. You are going to get people who will get full auto on that thing and people will be screaming. I was running with it last night and talk about scout rifle that can own in PvP. So give it some time you will see less and less of CD.
-
I'm not fluent enough in Destiny theorycrafting to say whether that gun is OP, but it sure it damn popular. One of the reasons I didn't bother continuing with IB after completing my bounties is because I got tired of seeing the CD/Matador loadout being used EVERYWHERE. I would actually cheer any time I got killed by something other than those two guns.

Edited by TheLoneHunter: 11/15/2016 6:54:48 PMEyasluna on my voidlock is my counter and boy does it counter. Has sureshot/bracedfram/riffledbarrel/hidden hand. Clever Dragon can suck my eyasluna.
i do have a few godly dragon rolls though
3 RepliesThe more people using the same gun, the more the balance. I'll still use NLB and continue to be bad with it.
-
Use it.
-
3 RepliesWhat do you expect from the best weapon in the game? People will use and abuse it.
-
I was having fun using a high impact scout in Iron Banner until I ran into a match that I kept getting team shot by CD (same three guys running around together). Changed my playstyle and weapons and spent the rest of the match hunting them. We still lost but I still had fun.
-
2 RepliesMy Cryptic Dragon gets one up on cd spammers (when I can aim)
-
Eh, I just keep my distance and use the hero formula. It's a beast of a scout rifle if you get a high stability roll.
-
Does it jam for anyone else? I always get like 3 pulls in then stop shooting. I guess my trigger finger isn't fast enough for continously clicking or I'm just used to pulling trigger half as much with handcannons or hair trigger half pulls with mida
-
I have a pretty good Hopscotch Pilgrim on my Titan that has been holding its own against the Clever Dragon. It feels like the Mida or the Grasp meta to me.
