Dear (select few) Omingul farmers.
So this happened. Running random strikes and Omni pops. Not a word from the other 2 the entire strike until after I ran through the ogre part into the first room. I cleared all the trash minus a Knight when I get a party invite. I accept and immediately I'm getting yelled at. I chose not to respond until they calmed down. They're upset because they wanted to farm her, and then asked me if I had autism because I went to the boss room.
(Which I do not take as in insult. I've taught autistic kids and some of them are smarter than most adults Ive met and they tend to find the more efficient way to do stuff. Of course that depends on where in the spectrum they fall.)
I then told them that she can be farmed on normal and maybe they should have said something to me before we got there and or get a 3rd they know instead of expecting a random to read their minds. They told me to solo her and they were gonna sit back and waste my time. I said OK. Used my sidearm and took my sweet time. They ended up leaving when she was about 10%. I laughed and finished the strike. They could have avoided the whole ordeal if they would have said something from the start. Heck I would of gladly left. Communication is key. Meanwhile I feel like a badass for the solo kill. Good luck out there and try to remember to be nice lol.
Edit 1. Thank you for everyone that understood my perspective on this situation. That the focul point wasn't that I had anything against farming but that simply talking could have prevented grief on both sides. And much respect for the positive understanding of autism. If any of you happen to be on Xbox-one please feel free to friend request me or even a clan invite would be appreciated. HFGL

That's just stupid me and a m8 was on omnigal we invite random we chat and have a laugh while grinding for an hour and a half we say goodbye and good luck on raid an there you go done just because we sent him an invite at start I hate people like that on any game especially like on rainbow 6 where a guy teamkills in spawn then rages when u do it back

7 RepliesI'm going to add onto this little thread right here... DO NOT JUST SEND A RANDOM PARTY INVITE!!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD! JUST DON'T! Seriously, just don't. Take the time to send me a one word message saying, "Farming", or "Raid" or "CoE" or anything else. Half the time I'm with my friends and I'm not gonna leave for a randy invite. And even when I'm alone I, and many others you'll find, tend to be much, much slower if I don't have a message of what the hell they want. You have a 300% better chance of anyone joining by messaging and not spamming invites.

I really expected to read somewhere along the way that you teabagged or did something immature back to "teach them a lesson". Especially after they provoked you with their autistic comments. I really appreciate that you were mature throughout. Great job, man. You're the kind of person this community needs more of.

First off, if you're trying to farm a specific strike by using the random playlist, you're awful at farming. I mean, landsakes you can just select the thing from the Director. Secondly, you're a far more patient man than I. The moment I join a random party -a rarity in and of itself- and I hear people yelling, I just leave. I ain't dealing with that, I have better things to do than suffer the shrieking of fools. Also, good on you for your work with autistic kids. I've always seen that as more of an 'as-of-yet incomplete evolutionary leap' than a disorder myself. I've seen the wonderful things those guys can do when they find their area of expertise and it's mind-blowing.

4 RepliesIt was very mean on my part I'll admit it. Today I was doing it and I joined in a game and they were at the first omingul sighting where you can "kill her" for a chance at extra drops. I go and kill the adds what not and get the boss to maybe 30% hp remaining and I got a party invite and they were yelling at me saying I took their friends spot and I needed to leave. So I said well it would be a waste of an opportunity since 99% of the work was already done. I left party and killed the boss lmao.

Players like the one you played with should be banned for a little while. When you match make you're agreeing to play with the public player list. Find someone that wants to do the farm technique, if that's what you want to do. Don't force it into others and do not yell at them. Don't assume everyone is doing it or that everyone that knows about it even wants to. First of all there are tons of players that don't even know about this exploit. That these "guardians" tried to farm her off matchmaking instead of finding a third is absurd and rude.

Agreed you did the right thing people really need to be considerate and kind it'd go a long way! It's ridiculous they decided it was time to communicate after you went to the boss room. They should have been communicating as soon as the strike confirmed it was omnigul. [u] You are awesome and don't ever forget that![/u]

2 RepliesI would have seen how many knights I could control at one time with my artifact and killed Omnigul with her own Minions. I get a lot of satisfaction having a group of 5 enemies on my side. I would spent all day doing that 'till they left. Lol

I farmed her a bit today. Before I got to that point I joined several other games where ppl were telling me to leave "coz our friend got a dis connect" wasted an hour of my time

i play solo, I run through strike. if you want to farm by all means farm. ill just continue on.

2 RepliesGood on you, whenever I go farming I always message or dance til they look at me and hold up my sword. Sometimes their down, sometimes not, if not I just finish the strike and leave before the next strike starts. My headset is on the fritz at the moment lol
