I THINK DESTINY IS GOING TO DIE
In my opinion destiny is now coming to the end of its life.
dont get me wrong i love it but even with the new dlc coming out i think the new games coming out between now will take most of any player base destiny has left.
I hope it doesnt i love destiny, but the games ive seen coming out in the next months leading up to christmas just look amazing

I still go back and play the old halo games because destiny is just so boring. So much better fps and then there's destiny. The game had so much potential but now it's like they don't even care anymore. ttk was solid proof of destiny's failure. But this is just my opinion.

The way this game was built, along with the help of engineering of " less salt " as possible the community leaders help accomplish and cultivating in this community, destinycon and many getting turned away,....? Yo... There is no game that will put this out because of the sure thing all people need that this game gives..... [spoiler]people, relationships, and love. 4 RepliesI cant see any game killing destiny tbh. Im not impressed, actually kinda disapointed from Bf1. The guns are inconsistent, the Tanks are OP, the Maps are too big. I dont know, I cant feel the Hype. CoD infinte Warfare looks just like a more futuristic BO3 to me. Also the graphics suck, it Looks like a F2P game. Im not a big CoD fan so I dont know. Titanfall 2. I dont know, yes there is more content this time but in the end it still looks like a game that you play for 3 weeks and then you get bored. Also, am I the only one, or are Titans the most annoying thing in Titanfall ? lol Im hyped for Dishonored II and I think I will get the new Deus Ex as well but there is no game thats really a threat to destiny.

People will go and play them new games. After they beat those games, they'll hit lfg and look to get into a raid party. They all come back because Destiny is ongoing.

Why would you think destiny is going to die, if you love it? If you love it, it has just as much a chance to continue on vs fail. I think your a self centered dumbass who wants to be the center of attention... you dont think destiny will fail.... but maybe you hope it does, so you can say both "i was right" and then "games used to be great, games like destiny, instead we have this new garbage". Am i even close or totally off the reservation lol?

It won't die. Players will just leave when content is dry but will always return.

Die? No. But people will drop off to play other titles. It happened with TTK. Most will be back for certain events and updates. And promptly leave again. Only to show up before Destiny 2 releases (that is if there is any sort of importation of characters and/or gear between games).

I will be playing BOTH Gears and Destiny. Play what you want, they both have a big enough fan base behind them to "survive" games post-release. If youre worried about how popular a game will be after another game is released then you might be a bandwagon gamer lol

2 RepliesBest thing about games, is you are no obligated to spend any certain amount of time with just 1. There have always been claims that one game will kill another. And in my experience, that has never happened to any game ever. People will always play what they like. And so long as there are players, the game is still alive. Look at WoW as an example. Still going strong with millions of players. So many times it has been claimed that the game was dying, or some other game will kill it. But it has yet to happen.

You do understand, people do play other games and come back right? You dont have this undying loyalty to a game and only play destiny do you? If so, no wonder you think its going to die. Its all you have.
