Why is Crucible a hunter only thing?
Crucible is a hunter only game mode.
Hunters have the crucible dominating subclasses and Best class weapons.
I love to play my Titan and Warlock but Crucible is 90% hunters and it's getting very boring and annoying.
I almost always have to play on my hunter if I want too compete with the current Meta.
My opinion course there always those people who say Hinters are rare to encounter while Every single match I play in has 90% of players as hunters my team included.
It's so sad, and I don't have any friends who wasted money on Destiny so I'm all alone.

Yesterday we had a balanced team for several matches and only encountered hunter less teams lol. Eventually we found a double hunter team, but not as often as a double defender titan team or double storm trance team lol.

Completely different for me, most matches about half of the team are titans with only one or two hunters. Maybe you just get unlucky

6 RepliesLol hunters are so meh Was playing one yesterday and kept getting meleed by a titan (no shoulder charge, normal melee) when I hit him at the same moment with blink strike, both 1 shots, his melee beat mine. Consistently, idk what's up with blink strike but if a titan can hit further something is off with bladedancers. Don't get me started on warlocks melee range, hunters are arguably one of the weakest classes right now

lol I have 2 hunters so I'll stay out of this. I'm just not as good with my Titan as I am with my hunter.

Like 40% of the crucible is titans floating around in shotguns 30% voidwalkers and stormcallers and 30% hunters in general

I guess being in Japan things are different, I dont run into that many hunters. Doesnt matter, over sniping isnt cried over because someone sits at the back of the map SNIPING, instead of running around with a shotgun. And folks can check my 1k, Explosive Rounds and Firefly.

One game was actually a bunch of titians. I was constantly getting stomped or they would put the bouble up on a control point. So unless your team had a certain super ready really bothing you could.do.

1 ReplyI don't agree that there's more hunters. I see just as many other classes, mostly titans actually. Why are people able to make them work? Hunters have all roaming supers. This allows you to pick your shots more easily. Golden gun roams with three shots, and the subclass has no really powerful abilities but has gun buffs that add stability stacks and such. Pair these with scouts or snipers and you've got... well a gunslinger. Bladedancer allows you to roam and melee The shit outta people, plus inviz and backstab can be useful (though hunters have no melee+shield combo). Nightstalkers can be roaming with Quiver. It's got its ups and downs. They honestly have the shittiest grenades in the game for PvP. Just try to complete the "get 20 void grenade kills in crucible" quest. Their grenades are damage over time and very situational. Which is why, paired with a smoke grenade melee, the wombo combo surfaced. Neither would give a guaranteed kill so they were thrown together. Tricky to aim but deadly. Shadowshot is wishy washy. People bitch about it but it has a windup, a slow shot that can be dodged, and doesn't even guarantee a kill. Until year two, PvP was really the only place to use hunter supers. Sure, they are melting bosses and electrifying adds NOW after the buff, but tell me that story about the time you saved your team with Arc Blades or Golden Gun in the Vault of Glass. You should be done now. The supers were garbage, even at killing red bar adds. But roaming supers are easier to streak with in PvP where they one shot, whereas Fist of Havoc and Nova Bomb have to either panic or pick a crowd. Meanwhile, self rez warlocks and titan bubbles were clutch in endgame PvE. Still are. That's kinda the story of the hunter, but I honestly don't see them used over the other classes by a large margin. Hammers and Havoc still can dominate, and Warlocks can straight up own a whole -blam!-ing team with that Stormcaller.

At the beginning only huntards had subclasses tailored for pvp, i mean striker and voidwalkers are good, but back in the first months of Destiny gunslinger and bladedancer where the go to for an easy time in the crucible.

I only see 10% hunters . Most ppl play either shotlock or titan. Warning ,, please try to avoid shotlocks with all due caution. A shotlock is a stormcaller warlock with a party crasher primairy equipped, And the 10 meters melee ability. Are you saying the party crasher is a special weapon? Dont make me laugh.
