Cause I would really like to know. BTW yes I know this game is based on RNG, all I'm saying is do bad players DESERVE good loot.
It feels like destiny's loot system is loyal to the bad players, I guess that's why no one ever helps them in raids and stuff.
This is how the loot system should be...

Bad players don't deserve good loot, so if we give them something to fight for they'll stop being at the bottom of the leader board.
I bet half of the people who hate this post probably aren't that great at pvp.
The way bungie should fix this is to increase the chances of legendaries the higher you up on the leader board.

How is still a relevant topic being discussed? The assumption is that because I'm on the bottom of the board I don't deserve an end match reward? What happens when my score is still close to 2,700 and I'm on the bottom of the board you saying I don't deserve a reward? Cuz I'm not the best, and I die more than I should but I still get my point and my kills. I honestly don't care what Joe Blowzinski on the top or bottom gets, I've had 4-6 Weylorans March drop between 3 characters this week with me being at all points of the leaderboard, and that's not including the three I got from IB about 4 months ago.

"Deserve" doesn't apply. It's a video game, not a job. I have a job, a family, and projects of my own that I work very hard on. When I play a video game it should serve the purpose of fulfilling my horrid pleasure centers. It should caress and fondle my brains disgusting synapses, driving them to ecstasy before finally making me a sandwich. I don't give two tugs of a dog's dry crank what other people get from this ridiculous social experiment of a game, as long as I have fun. And that dirty sandwich.

Maybe so. Maybe not. I wouldn't be entirely opposed for the top 3 on a team to have a better chance at loot. But honestly? It'd probably just be better if we couldn't see what each other got at the end. Then, there'd be no whining about what other people get.

5 RepliesI got a 335 arms for joining with 1 min left on winning team.. I got 1 kill . Then hate mail saying I did nothing the whole match.. This was Thursday I think.

8 Repliesyes there in there taking a beating they deserve those legendary drops

1 ReplyEdited by Vegalink: 7/22/2016 2:53:36 PMThat is what the trials mode is for man. Don't turn regular crucible into that. For us crappy pve players regular crucible will turn into Crimson Doubles, nothing rewarding with lots of snipers.
-
This has always been an issue since release. It is the result of yet again Bungie half assing the design. They were too lazy to develop a better reward system and made everything RNG.
-
1 ReplyIf they stop being at the bottom of the leader board, who will take their place? Because someone HAS to be bottom. What if they got so good that it was you who took their place? Would that then be unfair? Or would it just be karma coming back on you? I'll leave you to ponder that thought.

2 RepliesYou could have a match where literally everyone gets the same number of kills and the exact same K/D, but you end up in last because you have the least assists. I wouldn't see any reason as to why you don't deserve a legendary. Or, the last place player could have been playing their little heart out but were just outclassed. It's not their fault the matchmaking system is all over the place. They don't not deserve a legendary because of that. The only time someone doesn't deserve a legendary is if they rubberband their controller and go into the crucible playlist.

1 ReplyApparently, they need them, yes.

7 RepliesRng loot based system
for anyone that doesn't understand, that means RANDOM
3 RepliesIm not terrible at pvp but sometimes get lobbied into a terrible match in which i get my ass handed to me. Doed that mean i dont deserve anything???? This community makes me laugh.

Bad players don't deserve good loot, so if we give them something to fight for they'll stop being at the bottom of the leader board.
This is the stupidest statement I've seen on the forum in a while.
-
2 RepliesNo they should not, but RNJesus says yes ..

Your team won and you were the MVP? Congrats! Heres a strange coin. Piss off. ~~~~~~~~~ Oooooh...your team got dominated and you tapped your controller enough to not be counted AFK? Tough luck buddy...here, have two legendary drops and a shader. Hang in there, Slugger!
-
3 RepliesEven a team of all star players will have players at the bottom if the leaderboard Only one person can take a position at a time after all What you want is a system where poor performance equates to no 'reward' I wouldnt call the endgame drops rewards I would just call them endgame drops, because they are like rewards for participation, not for achievement. As such, there should be no restrictions on who receives endgame drops If you want a game mode where you are awarded by performance play Trials

Edited by ManUJ3zP: 7/23/2016 11:56:05 PMI was thinking bungie could do the following Remember, you have two slots where rewards can drop. In a 6v6 Playlist The top 3 guardians get a guaranteed legendary in the first slot, and a chance between a blue or legendary item in the second slot. But placing in the top 3 eliminates the chance of getting nothing in any of the slots. 4th and 5th place guardians get a chance at a legendary in the first slot, but if the legendary doesn't drop, a blue rarity item will be provided. In the second slot, these players don't have a chance at a legendary. But they do have a chance at a blue rarity item or get nothing. Player in last place: 1st slot has a chance of getting a blue item or nothing. 2nd slot: nothing will always be guaranteed. Tell me what yall think if the rewards dropping system was set up that way for 6v6?

4 RepliesEdited by c_hille_: 7/20/2016 6:43:26 PM
...so if we give them something to fight for they'll stop being at the bottom of the leader board.
Literally, one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Practice is what helps people like me that suck at PvP. Not because I want good stuff. I want a lot of things, wanting them doesn't help me get any of them.
-
2 RepliesI kind of get where ur coming from with the point of getting people to work harder for the loot, but if they are on the bottom, they probably haven't played that much pvp and giving them loot will make them want to come back, therefore making them better at pvp.
-
1 ReplyGive the sucky people the goods, they need it the most!
-
1 ReplyYes they need it more than you do they need better gear #joke

Just play a lot eventually you get everything. Only thing I don't have is soulstealers and first curse. So this game is all about time and grind. Its like a video game prison.

dat RNG tho..
