Do players in last place on the leader board deserve legendary weapons...
Cause I would really like to know. BTW yes I know this game is based on RNG, all I'm saying is do bad players DESERVE good loot.
It feels like destiny's loot system is loyal to the bad players, I guess that's why no one ever helps them in raids and stuff.

Bad players don't deserve good loot, so if we give them something to fight for they'll stop being at the bottom of the leader board.
I bet half of the people who hate this post probably aren't that great at pvp.
The way bungie should fix this is to increase the chances of legendaries the higher you up on the leader board.

I'd be pretty pissed to get screwed by the rewards system and the shitty matchmaking system at the same time, just for joining in late, or doing a bit worse than someone else.

I don't care if the bottoms get legendaries. I care that it seems to mostly reward the bottom half of the team and not the top. I didn't receive my first weapon till Thursday or Friday and only got 4 weapon drops accross 3 characters for the entire time I played banner.

4 RepliesNot everyone will be at the top of the leader board... there will always be players at the bottom... imagine having all three or six players in first place. Example John: 1st place Katy: 1st place Bob: 1st place It's the natural order of things to have a best and to have a worst. Some people are naturally good at things and others are not. And psychologically, good reinforcement is better than negative reinforcement... imagine doing something for the first time or trying to do something that you know you aren't good at, and someone says " you suck! Get the hell out of here and never come back!".... probably not the best way to reward someone's efforts... now saying this" hey that was pretty good for your first try! Here's a little something to encourage you!" See the difference? If bungie fixed it to have it your way then they'll lose money and players.

I went to play solo salvage while ago and I got two teammates and one of them went 0 kills and 19 deaths and other one went 7 kills and 18 deaths, needless to say we won but barely and by 100 points, guy who got 0 kills captured the relic 6 times and died and let them to dismantle it. After the game one of my teammates got party crasher and other one got eyasluna and I got blue scout rifle, even though I got 30+ kills was clearly one carrying these two who only managed to die. Providing nothing but free supers and points to the enemies. Bungie hates Solo players...

This may still encourage les teamwork tbh... In a control match, people would just go for kills. In clash, people would probs try to steal kills, sit back and mida to steal kills just to go up on the score board. It may end up winning, but i dont think those people would still deserve it.

1 ReplyAfter reading this i have to say i never really played crucible in year 1 and only done tier 3 faction quests in yr 1. In yr 2 i have spent many hours in crucible to get all 3 class items which meant tier 25 ( which i finished yesterday ) now in the process of this if i went with my clan 9 out of 10 times i was always at the bottom of the leader board, yes this would piss me off , but alot of it was connection based crucible, if i go alone im not always at bottom not far away but not always bottom. If that person is bottom does get a 335 item then good luck to them i have been 20 straight losses in IB, and the phrase ’get gud’ is irrelevent as from experience if id never recieved a reward from being last i would of given this game up in yr 1. So if you see someone get a better reward than you being top and them being bottom remember this is a game and there elation at getting a 335 being bottom is what keeps this going. Cheers._.

How is still a relevant topic being discussed? The assumption is that because I'm on the bottom of the board I don't deserve an end match reward? What happens when my score is still close to 2,700 and I'm on the bottom of the board you saying I don't deserve a reward? Cuz I'm not the best, and I die more than I should but I still get my point and my kills. I honestly don't care what Joe Blowzinski on the top or bottom gets, I've had 4-6 Weylorans March drop between 3 characters this week with me being at all points of the leaderboard, and that's not including the three I got from IB about 4 months ago.
