Now that secondary colors (magenta, orange, green) have been added for chroma, it'd be nice to see a trade-in / combination feature. Myself and many others have a lot of the original 3 (primary) colors but few if any of the new ones.
Simply put, if you want a green chroma, you trade in 1 blue and 1 yellow. This would be similar to the conversions you could do at the speaker and could be done at the Ever verse console or at the outfitter.
Thoughts?
Edit: I forgot my color combos...

2 RepliesI want a black chroma dammit.

Make it so that it cycles through all the chromas when you're trying to change to a specific chroma instead of it being RNG every time you put 100 glimmer into it
-
3 RepliesIdk... I heard they're planning on nerfing chroma, so I've been staying away from it.

1 ReplyChroma was mainly added to sell more sterling treasures (a.k.a. silver). Here are some hints: No option to check, how it will look, before you apply it. Totally RNG based, which colour you'll get, if you get any at all. RNG colour, if you dismantle a piece of chroma gear. The more different colours, the harder to get the desired one.
-
1 ReplyA chameleon chroma would be nice, rotating between all colors.
-
3 RepliesI'd like to see a new, rarer than normal chroma that changes between orange, blue, and purple to match whatever subclass you're currently using.
-
I think Bungie should add Black, Gray, Brown, Purple, Light Blue and Dark Green Chromas
-
1 ReplyWhat about getting a black chroma?
-
Anyone else also find it annoying that you only get it from gear acquired from sterling treasure. But if you dismantle spektar gear from factions, it nets you zero chroma.
-
I have so many yellow chromas its annoyng i think i have 60

I want a Purple chroma for my No Backup Plans

Edited by Razzupaltuff: 6/26/2016 12:25:45 PMSounds like a good idea. Plus I don't want that fkn chroma lottery when I try to change the chroma color on gear, having to spend arbitrary amounts of glimmer until I randomly get what I wanted. Implementing that this way has been an exceptionally stupid idea in my book. Every fkn thing in this game is random, every fkn thing is luck. Apparently the people deciding this are all gambler personalities and now believe everybody would find that thrilling and entertaining. Here's some news to these people: Many people do not enjoy your g'dam mothereffin random bullshit!

1 ReplyNope, won't happen. They want you to grind or pay for the new ones. Bungo did this on purpose. It's not some coincidence.
-
1 ReplyThe Gunsmith would be a perfect place to buy/sell chroma. Like you could buy a new color by trading in a color you have + 250 glimmer or something.
-
2 RepliesEdited by MandallianGiant: 6/26/2016 12:43:02 AMMy thought on chroma is that we should choose the color we want by spending glimmer like currently. Except make chroma non-color exclusive so that activating chroma would just turn on the chosen color. This would allow them to add as many chroma colors as they could come up with without jacking up our inventory.

What you need is.....
AJobAtBungie Pack Rounds
I have 25 yellow chroma doubt I'll ever use them

I say we add a black chroma.

2 RepliesWE NEEDS THE NEON BROWN UP IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 RepliesLol red +blue don't make green silly!

4 RepliesRAINBOW CHROMA PLZ

3 RepliesEdited by Duskpyre: 6/25/2016 8:23:59 PMWhile I like this idea, it would indirectly cut into treasure box sales. Players who purchased those boxes for chroma would have less incentive to do so if they could simply trade for it at a vendor.

1 ReplyHell, just make them purchaseable. All I'm doing with marks is stocking up on materials for September. Give me something else to spend them on.
-
I like this idea. Bungie pls make this a thing
-
That's a really good idea. I was thinking of trading chroma colours to the speaker, just like we trade ascendant shards to energy or glimmer.

Would be nice..
