If there was no sprint lock everybody would be MLG-sliding everywhere.

Sounds like Black Ops III.

Even over there they did their best to make it harder to G-slide
-
it is 420 day

Nobody cares

*sniff* i care

This guy gets it.
-
Then just put a cool down like blink on sliding and problem solved
-
If they could do this easily, they probably already would have
-
That's a damn good point.
-
Thanks for being the only person so far to actually give a reason for the spring pause. This makes perfect sense. Though I will say that I wish it wasn't enabled in pve.
-
Oh no people sliding whatever shall we do
-
They already do, so what? You can MLG slide all you want, this thing only kicks in after you sprint for a while.
-
Apparently that's just the only time you notice it. Maybe you just don't slide much. It's an artificial cool down for how many consecutive slides you can chain by quickly clicking sprint & Crouch. It's the only way they have to limit it. It's no big hindrance outside of its function.
-
So what
-
-
And it would require even less skill and timing than it does now? Which would be a bad thing. Brilliant question BTW. 10/10 would derp again.
-
Honestly, I feel like the people who already slide are the people who would be using it. I like to hop all over the place rather than slide. Most of us are already set in our playstyle at this point, so I don't see it becoming as huge a problem as you think.
-
Jumping and sliding go together already. That's how you avoid the sprint lock. Not saying there's anything wrong with jumping a lot (Although it should only really be done with a hand cannon) but you'd improve you're game to slide more if you really don't do it often. Especially in elimination where surviving is better than slaying.

Fusion hopping is, and always has been, a viable option. They really should've nerfed them, but what do I know; i only developed and patented the "Fist of Disintegration" tactic with the telesto.
it's for striker defense
