Why do you like/dislike smoking/smokers?
So for the past few days I've seen a few threads that cover smoking in one way or another. I want your opinion on the subject.

My girlfriend is severely allergic to tobacco and every time we walk past some smoker on the street she starts choking up If the smokers don't go away she could die Also most stoners are obnoxious -blam!-s

And I sure as heck dont want the raid team to have to wait 10 minutes at every check point for smoke breaks. If you're playing with other people, respect their time. And we'll respect your right to do what you want in the privacy of your home on your own time.

It makes the smoker stink, makes being around them stink, they are giving themselves cancer and me cancer through second-hand smoking. Just why?

As long as it's done outside, or even in your home, it doesn't bother me. But when they're brought inside any public building, or someone else's home... i find it disrespectful to others around you. Especially children and elders. The smoke not only is harmful, but also tends to have a distasteful smell to it... Nothing against smokers, I just don't agree with it. The risk highly outweighs the reward.

My aunt smokes, she's in her fortys and has more grey hairs than my grandma, also I'm okay with people smoking but not in public, in public second hand smoke can cause lung cancer and endangeres people with asthma. If you smoke because you have personal problems I understand but you don't need to affect more people than yourself just because you cannot find a safe solution to mend your personal problems.

I think it is sad to see someone smoking. Everyone I know that smokes or did smoke says they wish they never started. I don't dislike anyone because they smoke. I will never judge anyone negatively because I see a cigarette in their mouth, because I don't know the whole story. Smoking to me is a visible problem. You can clearly see that the person is struggling with something. I know everyone has problems, I have my fair share. I would never want anyone to judge me because I suffered extreme depression, so for that I will never misjudge anyone who is smoking, because I will never know why they chose to smoke.

Not many smokers realize that it affects other people than themselves. My baby sister died when she was 3 because of second hand smoke inhalation.
