I am gutted that Bungie have joined the "rip off Britain" tribe, I will not be buying the next DLC as I have already paid for my season pass, so COD here I come, with a heavy heart!

3 RepliesDon't you guys in the UK have a VAT tax system which taxes every stage of production not just the final sale. In the U.S. we don't have a VAT and just pay tax on the sale. I don't know just looking for clarification because what I know of VAT it makes everything more expensive.

1 ReplyEdited by Twistedjez: 6/25/2015 12:47:59 PMPrice parity should be world wide, theres no justifiable reason to take the piss and rip off any nation. i bought the last two dlc but i wont over pay for this, fu bungie. £40 = $62.9291 USD

1 ReplyThe consumer still wields power, don't pre order TTK until a compromise is offered.
-
1 ReplyEssentially UK is getting ripped off?
-
If the prices were right it would justify as to why the first two dlc had a lack of content
-
I will not be buying at £40. Total rip off

Bump for Britain !!

Bump for the UK and anyone who isn't an american getting shat on by Bungie.

5 RepliesEdited by War Numen: 6/24/2015 9:30:53 AMTTK in the US:$40 = £25.00 TTK in the UK:£40 = $63.00 Open your mouths UK player-base, Bungie has a smelly gift for you! EDIT: The funny thing is, when they made it available for pre-purchase on xbox one the price was £27.99. Then they decided we should pay £12 more ($23 more than everyone else, like $11 more than australians) because.... Don't even try to tell me its tax, $40 is £25, with tax that makes it £27'ish. They literally think their fanbase is this exploitable. well urrr.. 40 is 40 right? duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
That's way to expensive. Sorry you're getting shit on UK.

Edited by AYRES: 6/24/2015 10:34:06 PMIsn't it funny the way they were considerate enough to change the Australian pricing scheme to $70 yet leave the price in the EU and UK at €,£40.

1 ReplyWhat's minimum wage in uk?
-
No don't play COD! Bungie isn't at fault here it's Activision. They set the prices and you going to play on of their games and paying for their season pass is hurting the good side of this "deal" between the two companies

7 RepliesTaxes and rights to sell. Its the UK government. Games cost 60$ in murica and 60£ in ze UK
-
Not buying it either mate. That's a full game price and a full days pay on minimum wage. That's completely out of touch with the rest of the world.
-
Let's just focus on American dollars because British pounds are just foreign to me...
-
This needs to keep being pushed, it's a piss take.

~customized bump~ We need to get back to reasoning and thinking things through. The future generation is being brought up in greed and without a true understanding of civics. There is no more emphasis on knowledge and time. As a society we need to process ideas and understand what certain principles are based upon. ~Richard Dreyfuss

We just need to stay loud on this. We know there gonna delete it again because they find that our "valuable" feedback dosen't sit right on their red bull recycled thrones. It's digital and isn't affected by the same taxes physical stuff is. gonna need to vote with wallets to get the point across.

Bump Bungie/Activision are you TAKEN the piss?

It is clear Bungie not only failed economics 101 but also business 101, but on a plus side there aced "how to alienate your consumers" 101! I have a bad feeling this isn't spit in my eye, or egg on my face, what I think it is can't be mentioned but I reckon the point is clear. How do you get the exchange rate wrong?? Is America that awesome that they can just ignore their currency is worth less then other's?? The season's pass was surprisingly worth it, £30 for two DLCs sure, but £40 for much the same, no thanks!!! This is just the tip of the iceberg of issues Bungie is failing at. Good luck peddling destiny2!
