So there's no point in doing level 35 Skolas
I thought people did it for the elder cipher, but as it turns out it drops from level 34.
Sooooooooo what's the point of 35 Skolas?
Edit: changed 32 to 34
32 is for one of the later parts of the bounty.
Edit: as per bungies update Skolas is gonna get a little easier, but they are also removing burns from his encounter.
This will make it even worse Imo, as thus doesn't exclude modifiers such as lights witch or grounded.
Also this might be the last time we get to spray him with gjallarhorns for the easy win.

I got the void auto-rifle from my second Skolas run, it's OK but not amazing. I will be running Skolas once more on my Hunter this week and that'll be it. I don't have any interest in going back to him if they're going to nerf him.

The point is so that you have a better chance at getting the elder cipher since it drops for both, obtain another etheric light, and hopefully get a primary with element. Plus it gives me something else to do

1 ReplyThe draw should be the elemental primaries. But since they replaced a 2nd perk with a fallen one, and the Fallen and burn perk are random, you can get just stupid drops.

I feel like it has a higher drop rate on level 35. With solar burn on skolas the first week, it was easier than level 34. Plus you get an extra Ethiric light. Your first time doing skolas you get the shader/emblem/ship.

Honestly I have so many weapon/armor cores, etheric light, I've gotten all 3 cyphers. Yeah seems pointless. But I still do it to try and exploit new strategies. It's also a great challenge

2 RepliesCosmetics and a 20% (in my experience) to get an elemental primary. The element you get shows evidence of matching the weekly burn.

You get the shader, ship, and emblem from the 35 queens chest. That's about it.

I got a solar dregs pride which is beast... but that was the only gun I wanted a burn on and I have light piling up now so I am done with it... too many nights I hear friends on chat at each others throats because the first run they did went quick but the next one is taking hours and they have no more time to play.
