So there's no point in doing level 35 Skolas
I thought people did it for the elder cipher, but as it turns out it drops from level 34.
Sooooooooo what's the point of 35 Skolas?
Edit: changed 32 to 34
32 is for one of the later parts of the bounty.
Edit: as per bungies update Skolas is gonna get a little easier, but they are also removing burns from his encounter.
This will make it even worse Imo, as thus doesn't exclude modifiers such as lights witch or grounded.
Also this might be the last time we get to spray him with gjallarhorns for the easy win.

I did it once to do it, will probably do it again as I didn't get the ship but I don't see making a habit of it. Maybe it will be better after the changes - when I did it we just gave him the 42 Gally salute and then walked around disarming mines with no enemies. The drop rate of the weapons is terrible so that isn't much of an attraction for me.

You can get element primary drops of legendary fallen themed gear. Also possible to get disciplinarian on them making them pretty useful.

The ship, the shader, and the emblem. Maybe people just want those and not some special weapon

I thought you had to complete 35 first to get them to drop on that character at lower levels

2 RepliesJust do it when there's a solar burn like this week. Either use gally or spam him with black hammer works just as well. Never cared to attempt it until this week and beat him the first time through under a minute, not too bad really.

Have gotten a fire handcannon with disciplinarian and an arc scout rifle with captain stun but they aren't too impressive. I guess just for the randomizer at variks for fallen armor I guess

I got the void auto-rifle from my second Skolas run, it's OK but not amazing. I will be running Skolas once more on my Hunter this week and that'll be it. I don't have any interest in going back to him if they're going to nerf him.
