What Elitists Think of Noobs in the Trials!!!
First of all - no, this is not a "Guide to Trials."
I've read ridiculous posts about people complaining about the Lighthouse and how "difficult" it is to get there. It's not hard at all. I've been playing PvP since the Alpha (check my medal score) and have been good at it (check my K/D). Well, Control isn't up to par due to Iron Banner, though.
Anyhow, as for the people Crying about it - there's two ways to look at it.
1.) All the people who want Xur to sell Ghorn. This is us PvP players saying, "No! You don't get an easy way out!" You either EARN it or don't! Suck it up! You can't cheese your way to nine straight wins.
2.) This is the PvP Raid. PvE kids got Crota, Atheon, & Skolas! We got one, too. …and it's the hardest raid in the game.
I don't feel sorry for the people who can't do it. They don't DESERVE it. They didn't EARN it. There are two things that give me great satisfaction in Trials!!! I will share them with you.
1.) In order for me (and my team of two others) to make it to the Lighthouse, we had to beat nine teams of three. 9-0. Because of us, twenty-seven people were rejected from the Lighthouse this week - at minimum! Us three are of more importance to this community (PvP wise) so WE were chosen in the stead of those we had beeten. Get this - WE'RE NOT DONE!!! Yup. We can still go in there and farm for gear!!! My team has done this on all their characters and we've started new ones! How many times have we seen, "So & so has completed their Trial" after we just stomped them. No gear for you. I'm STILL hungry.
2.) Atheon was weak.
Crota was weak.
Even Skolas was weak.
We beat them all! Even PvE kids beat them.
But in Trials, I AM THE RAID BOSS!!! You don't chase me - I chase YOU. I have the skill, along with my team to ensure hundreds - MAYBE THOUSANDS don't see that Lighthouse this week! I don't see us losing once - let alone THREE times in a single weekend! We (and fiends like us) own Trials!!! Hahahahaha!!!
Oh, the spoils of a hard-earned victory are ever-so delightful.
See you next week! I'll need gear, competition, and a fresh plate of scrubs. Meanwhile I'll be lurking in Skirmish, Rumble, or Clash… muwhahahahaha…

1 ReplyI normaly dont do well in pvp, but in the ToO i was on a wreckig ball rampage. I didn't stop after my 9-0, i kept going, i wanted more blood to flow, i have seen countless enemies completing their trials passage with a loss, i've seen enough rage quitters. It was a great time

You didnt earn it either if you used thorn or TLW trash kids always use crutch weapons. Before yoh say oh you didnt complete it and cry about it. I beat it within the first hr with timepiece plan c and gally. Then beat it again next day went to mercury both times. Gut good for all you thorn and TLW users you guys are scrubs

3 RepliesI want to be mad at you for writing this, but you're right. Trials of Osiris turns skilled pvp players into raid bosses. And that's awesome! I look forward to possibly fighting you in the trials, it would be an honor regardless of the outcome.

You sound like a 12 year old girl with no brain at all... You really think you are skilled? In a video game??? Maybe you should reconsider and call it practice young fella... Hope the so called noobs beat your ass next time because all you do is motivating them to practice more to chase you at the end... Well done ;)... I am glad that you are skilled enough to understand that sooner or later you will be that noob when every one gets better because of practice... Waiting for your tears then :D... Muahahahahahaha...

6 RepliesI love this post! I'm utterly horrible and the Lighthouse seems like a distant dream to obtain. I'm not going to sit here and cry that Bungie should make PvP easier for a scrub like me that can barely scrap together positive K/d. If I want it, I'll have to earn it. Way to many entitled people around here looking for -blam!-ing handouts.

Got 9-0 on hunter. 9-2 on lock and 9-1 on the Titan. Only tasted it once but all elitism aside, I'll back this post. The Weiners complaining will all be gone in the upcoming weeks.

people are forgetting about boons so one thing you can be certain of is you took their mercy away from them (unless at the end you seen "name completed their trials pass") not deny them entry to the lighthouse
