Imagine if you could only equip one gun.
What would you choose?
What is the most versatile gun? You'd need something that has done range, is good up close and good for bosses, just a good all situation gun.
I'd personally choose Suros Regime. I never really use the gun much because I roll with a hand cannon/sniper/rocket combo. But I feel this gun has range, impact, healing. It also has the options for fast and slow fire rates, +2 agility, max stability. It's a bit of a jack of all trades gun that covers a wide array of situations.
What about you?

Versatility? Suros Regime hands down. Which is why it keeps getting the nerd bat.... For vitalness to success in PvE? IceBreaker? Success in PvP? Toss up between Thorn and Hawkmoon.

Suros by far most versatile. Not a big fan but probably the most viable option.
