Am I GUARANTEED to get a Vex Mytloclast when I kill Atheon (Hard mode)?
I am planning to go raiding soon. Then try hard after. Just asking if the raid hard would be worth it when getting this beauty :P

No it's RNG unlike me I got it on my either 1st or 2nd try I don't remember but I've heard people who've done it like 30 times and still nothing so no promises.

Depends, I have gotten it 5 times total, and I know a good amount of others who have ran it 40+ times and not got it once. Honestly at least for my play style, it is not so great since it runs out of ammo too quick and just doesnt hit as good as it did before it was nerfed (in PvE aspect) I only use it for the fusion multi kill bounty and vaulted 2 and sharded the other two.

Nope, some got it first go, some still haven't gotten it. That of course, can be said for pretty much all armors/guns in Destiny, sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you aren't.

2 RepliesNope. Expect at least 5 to 10 Atheon kills before you get a vex.

Not guaranteed at all. Saying that though, I must have completed it on hard around 20 times or more (across 3 characters) and have had 7 drop. I actually got one the very first time too. Not guaranteed, but possible. Others have still not got one after many completions though, so be warned.
