Towards Fusion Rifle players
If you are one of those that is running around with a Plan C or Pocket Infinity, you are the most incompetent, annoying player in Crucible.
Here I am, trying to do the bounties and get the hell out of this infernal mode, and all I get is idiots running around with fusion rifles. You are by far the worst and yes, I am -blam!-ing salty because I don't even know why I keep wasting my time on this game for 4 months now. Being 32? It doesn't matter if the other guy has a fusion rifle, he will still one-shot you.

1 ReplySo blink shot gun- blink strike is a ok combo? Because people complain about shot guns and fusion rifles. Next it will be snipers.

The only problem is there is enough ammo provided to use them as primaries. Spawning with sniper ammo? Who thought that was a good idea?

Unless you're doing Fusion Rifle bounties, there should be no reason for using one exclusively throughout the match as if it's your primary. Unless it's Vex Mythoclast of course.

I just find head shotting people with my Scout Rifle much, much more satisfying than using a Fusion Rifle. edit - I find the people that keep dying to Fusion Rifle users much more annoying than the people that use them.

That's funny. I routinely go positive under the exact same conditions. Maybe you should play it like Destiny and not COD, and you will get good. [spoiler]probably not though with that attitude.[/spoiler]

Feel free to post and rant about us, because we're out here causing problems for you and your fans. Hide, cower beneath our fusion riffles. BDSM'in anybody who stands in our way.

5 RepliesPeople just complain about fusion rifles so much because they are better than the crap shotgun you're probably using. Shotguns take way less skill than fusion rifles. Then again fusion rifles are for bitches compared to snipers.

8 RepliesNo mater how you put it, the fusion rifle is the scrubs weapon of choice. When I hear that charge up whine it translates as 'pls don't kill me, pls don't kill me, pls don't kill me'!! Because that's pretty much it - the fusion rifle player succeeds only when the people he's facing fail to kill him quickly. The power isn't his. He's hoping other people make a mistake. Sure, you could argue that about most weapons, but in the case of fusion rifles this particularly rings true. On a slightly related note - notice how few fusion rifles you see in skirmish and salvage. They don't tend to succeed in modes that don't thrive on spam and tend to be higher skilled.

I used one until I got to level 10 and found a shotgun, now I use those. I kill plenty of fusion rifle users with my secret handshake.

There is only 1 reason I use fusion rifles. Tge OP is an example. I like to use it on people who hate getting killed by it By the way its in the game for everyone to use. You know that right?

Fusion rifles are great for the raid. Also, instead of whining use one yourself.

If you keep getting killed by the same weapon enough to post about it i would devise a different strategy.

I'll explain this to you. Some people like up, close and personal - shotguns, example invective. Some people like distance kills - snipers, example patience & time. Some people like mid-distance kills - fusion rifles, example pocket infinity. Each has their own positives and negatives. Pocket infinity for example has a long charge time. For each choice there's a counter tactic. See the balance?
