Have any Raiders ever fought through an Enrage?
The first time my Raid squad ever beat the Templar, we had to knock off the last of his health whilst he was enraged; 2 of our team were down and miles away. We did it by sticking together, desperately battling off hordes of Vex and gathering around the relic holder (me) every time an Oracle marked us.
As his health dwindled another of our team got downed, I remember hearing that his health was all but spent, and launching a super at him in between desperately staving off minotaurs and hordes of Harpies. Upon hearing "Super going in" 1 of the remaining trio made a suicide dash and delivered the killing blow just as he got swarmed.
The first I knew of it was being dimly aware of hearing "Hes down, Templar down" as me and my last remaining teammate were battling pretty much back to back surrounded by Vex. And then they all collapsed. It was done.
Quite possibly my favourite moment on the game so far. Any other teams survived Enrage in any capacity?
EDIT: in fact screw it, lets turn this into a 'Success Stories' thread. Share awesome moments, clutch moves, epic wins, nice clips, whatever! There was one of these on the Black Ops 1 forums and I met the group I've been gaming with ever since on there. Hopefully some similar groups will spring from this. Go!

My last hard raid I let someone else carry sword..they had a hard time getting the count right and after about five or six attempts we finally had him down enough but dude did one hit too many, dies by crota and oversoul spawns..I'm typically running sword and feel safe on the ground so I was down there already. A soon as I see guardian down I run out and use my bladedancer super and pop invis, Jump up and grab sword and told everyone to hit crota again, and all in like five seconds we died but I got the last two hits on him and we respawned with rewards...hella clutch and enrage.

I dont have an enrage story but i have a great clutch story In one teleport we got his health down about 1/3, 2 people went down, then after the next teleport 1 more died by supplicants when leaving the portal, 3 people in left, the relic holder put up his shield and me and my good friend unload on him with our black hammers, i had set up my ward of dawn so we were doing more damage, it seemed impossible for 2 people to bring his health down 2/3 of the way, our fireteam said to wipe but we pressed on, crit after crit we hit him, 5 seconds left on times vengeance, the relic holder starts yelling its over we cant do it but we keep hitting him, last second left i shoot my last shot, ready to die but too my surprise he bursts into flames and the rewards slide across my screen

I tried carrying on at templar solo after enrage. Would have finished it if i didnt have to reload my ghorn. After that i had no safe spot to fire the rockets from and was swamped by minotaurs :(

Basiclly when I was level 8, I would help my friends cause I preordered and got it before them, I would just one shot the bosses at the end with nova bomb

So we were at it a while before finally everything went to plan. Took 3 teleports but he had a sliver of health left. When all the sudden The relic sheild glitches and kills the last four of us alive. atheons health was so low you couldn't even see it. Knowing we were doomed we all vocalize our dismay. When suddenly the guy with no mic uses fireborn and chases Atheon down with fusion grenades and kills him. THAT is what I call clutch.

Managed to solo the templar once... we were so close when the bastard nailed one and and the other fell victim to a suicide harpies. I had to shield blast, drop the relic, fire a rocket, pick up the relic and run away. All while dodge a billion angry minotaurs. I nearly died but got him with a rocket first... I think that minute of game time aged me 12 years...

Luckily we got a second DPS chance on him and we downed him before Oversoul ran out. Had a great sword bearer. Was close as sh*t, but we did it.

The first time I ran Templar on hard, everyone but the relic holder died. But did he wipe: NO! So I had to spend the next hour waiting for the relic holder to kill the Templar. Longest day EVER.

Back in the day on one of my first Atheon hard runs we wiped during the final Vengeance buff with Atheon having a barely visible sliver of health left. A warlock radianced back, took 2 or 3 shots and killed him. I was so stoked at the time. Can't remember what caused us to wipe. Think it may have been the splash damage from the relic bubble being against the wall.

Suvived a crota enrage. 5 oversouls back to back. Hide in left room shoot out the door. 4/6 must have SGA as it counts as a miss even tho you damage it so non stop shooting. Crota still rotates and there will be 4 ogars once you get past the oversoul

I was with a team of noobs, most of them were squeakers. We were fighting the templar. They had no idea what they were doingand started fighting over who got the relic. They decided to have a guy who had no idea how to use it pick it up every time. It was painful to watch them. After the 3rd wipe i sprinted to get the relic. 3 retards stayed on the "cheese" platform just outside the area and were killed by an oracle. I was kicking ass with the relic. Only wiped one more time. (This group later kicked me at the labrynth. I was their only hope.)

Myself and friends were doing vog normal for fun, and got to the Templar. I say," OK guys, I'm recording, and get ready for the templar fight". So everyone uses synthesis and such, so I grab the relic and say "here we go". I get the relic charged and say, "about to shoot him, careful with rockets". I shoot him and he dies with the relic blast. We must have stood there for 5 minutes trying to figure out what happened.

Just beat Templar on enrage, and he was hiding behind a pillar, I still don't know how we got him.

Almost everytime I play with people from lfg I get enraged. There's nothing you can do but fight through it.

They're not very good, but I think of all the mistakes I made on my first ever VOG run. So the second portal is open. Conflux has an infinite army of minotaurs trundling towards it. I'm the highest level, I have the nastiest firepower so I'm on Minotaur clean up duty. First shield carrier drops, I run backwards in his direction, fire rocket at Minotaur, pick up shield, charge back into fray. Timegate team is in big trouble, I tell them to let the Praetorian catch it and engage him from distance otherwise they're mincemeat. Timegate has been captured by praetorian. Oracle spawns. I'm on the platform the minotaurs spawn (where Atheon spawns). Super is charged. While on the platform I snipe the oracle with the shield's super, tell them to recapture the gate, revive original shield bearer, give him the shield back, tell him to go help the Timegate team and go back to mopping up minotaurs. Later they're saying how 'awesome' I am "And you didn't even brag about it, just 'jobs done move on'" Privately, I was totally having a "BOOM! -blam!- YOU, ORACLE, EAT SHIT MINOTAURS, I AM THE GREATEST PERSON TO EVER PLAY THIS -blam!-ING GAME" moment :p

Just last night. Doing Shrine of orx. Warsat drops. I'm alone until about 80%. I'm almost dead. Low on ammo. Super spent. 2 drop ships in the sky. A beautiful L27 came in, guns blazing. I get to hide, heal. We finish up. I bow. He waves. The orx ball gets blown up.

1 ReplyHad that happen on atheon a couple weeks ago there were three of us left and we jumper to the middle with the bubble his health was so low. Another went down leaving me and the relic holder. I just kept shooting it was do or die and right about the 1 second mark he went down before the teleport. Was effing awesome

7 RepliesHard crota. Death singer Checkpoint. We have 4 32s and 2 31s, me being a 31. I was up in right tower sniping hallowed knights while the others tried to take out ir yut. Next thing I know, last guardian standing pops up. There was about 10 to 15 seconds left. I rushed in, ir yut was just under half health. Fired two rockets and shot her 6 times in head with ice breaker, pulled out fatebringer and finished her off. Escaped with my life and picked off the adds. Probably one of my best moments. Team was pumped

I was playing Salvage and the score for both teams was about 50 points away from a win. I saw the last enemy alive trying to capture the relic so I shot him a few times, ran and jumped in the air, and threw a knife directly in his skull.
