Deathsinger - No rewards
Hardest part of Crotas raid.... Zip rewards. Not to mention most moronic part of the raid. I do not enjoy being timed and being forced to run into a room with a dozen Knights and acolytes and hoping that they miss me. That's not something that requires skill as much as it requires luck.

Haha I agree 100% after our wizard is down I turn into friggen rabid version bugs bunny hoppin around with my rocket launcher barely missing shots.

I think in general bungie is making encounters that require very little strategy and a lot of luck or RNG luck (ie: needing certain weapons, etc) Don't get me wrong, I like the raids, it's just getting old when we keep dying to glitches or having to essentially cheat to beat the encounter.

4 RepliesHave the sunsingers in your group put on the perk where they float when they aim, it allows them to get shots off while out of reach of the Knights, oh and gjallarhorn can't hurt either lol

2 RepliesIn the room where the deathsinger is you can jump on top of one of the two doorways. From here you're immune to melees and can unload heavy weapons on her.

We did one side at a time. Had one guy lure out the wizard kill him have a guy kill the shrieker. Once that was done on both sides 2-3 guys with gjallarhorn run in and blast her

5 RepliesIt's a shame crotas end only has 3 loot drops, whereas VoG has 4 ... and so far we only know of two chests ...

Well actually it requires skill and a tactic. If you only spray and pray you will not succeed. Follow a tactic and you will beat it within one try.

It's extremely easy.. run in.. pull wizard... Kill... Repeat... Run in... shoot 1 rocket... Leave... Repeat... Kill boss...

8 RepliesMy raid team was stuck on that part for no joke about seven hours. We finally beat the whore (after a good night sleep we beat it on the first try this morning, swat like tactical precision haha) and my one buddy was so pissed he rage quit before crota and flipped out. Said he was done with raiding forever and hasn't been on destiny since haha.

In all seriousness though, the drops are a little better with a chance for both gear and radiant materials. I agree in that it would be better if every part did give a reward to discourage people from skipping sections of the raid such as people starting from oracles to avoid confluxes. However, if any part must be absent of a reward, this isn't a bad choice. If anything, Crota makes up for it.

1 ReplyI think when hard mode comes out we will have more loot. Crota spawns on a platform we use to activate bridges. And there are two other of those blue platforms. I think another part is going to be added for hard raid.
