Okay fellas it's pretty simple, we want two flags... not 3
Please, ALL OF YOU, Stop trying to capture all 3 flags if you're not in a fireteam of 6.
When I'm with my Fireteam, we can capture all 3 flags and earn a crapton of XP (about 325 per kill) because of domination.
Now even though that's a nice thing to aim for ...

The goal is control. COntrol means to control the enemy team. Keeping them on their one flag. We get too close, we don't control.
Whenever I go solo I see all of you, ALL OF YOU, go for the third flag like it's the holyland. Please, unless you and your friends are coordinated and playing together, don't go for the third flag. Please.
Seriously, PLEASE.
In fact if you guys want a tip for solo , chill back at the furthest flag, theres always someone trying to sneak around to take it. Steady points.

[u]Here's some more reasons to not go for that last flag.[/u] -You're removing yourself from a position that might let an enemy past. -It's a waste of time to go for that flag alone. That's actually enemy territory if your team holds the first two flags, enemies [b]are[/b] going to spawn there. -You're messing with spawns, making the game much more frustrating for your team and the enemy.

1 ReplyYou would not believe how angry I get when the other team completely steam rolls mine because 2 idiots thought they could take the last flag on there own. Control isn't conquest, you don't get points for holding flags, you get bonus points to kills when you control the flags. Why go to the enemy and allow them to prepare for you to come around the corner, when you can just sit back and defend your flags. And defender Titans, don't be afraid to lay down your bubble on an already captured flag, if it keeps them from capturing, then it's a help.

4 RepliesEdited by Bluefoxx3: 11/21/2014 3:48:40 AMI always go directly for B at the start of the game, the other team has the same idea, too bad I never have a team with the same idea as me, I always get over run cause after my team captures C or A, then they go for the opposite zone on the other side of the map instead of B. I never bother with capturing A or C, I always watch B.

Edited by Jeepack: 11/21/2014 5:49:59 AMYeah I have the same problem, and Not the best pvp player but I do see the difference, mainly, when the spawns flip, that's when I start dying a lot because I end up being alone and trying to get to other teamates but they are so far i'll run into opponents before half the time. That angers me because the game is so fast pace you can't be wasting time trying to find your team on a map. But on a side note, I also feel that some maps aren't balanced, and I blame the designers for the rants in that case, for example, firebase delphi on mars, if my team is team c, I don't blame anyone for going to A, it's much closer to the heavy ammo and much easier to defendd B. Maps being unbalanced like this doesn't help, it encourages random flag capture attempts. What I mean is if the arenas where perfectly balanced like a mirror,, everyone would instinctively understand that the middle is what needs to be captured. In fact, if there was only one flag in the center of each map, then the game would be the same but without this problem,. Something like ctf I guess, sort of.... And to noobs, I would just clarify that it's not exactly about what the goal os, the goal is to win, period, but the point people are making is that if you want to use ajy team tactics to your advantage, you can't have the place where tou spawn when you die change all the time, it's just a poor tactical choice, and this is a direct consequence of going for the other team's flag, it just lets you use tactics and makes the game less random, and more fun, if you are trying to have more fun, only focus on 2 flags, you'll find it becomes much more coordinated and enjoyable. Imo

I hate randies and on top of all we have voice chat that no one uses. theres no reason to get a trip cap when you have 2 flags and control of the tempo and with blind whatch its all about that c flag. with mat its all about that c flag come on its the same game as before

This is so true. I needed just a few points earlier on today to get my Iron Banner up to lvl four to buy the cool gear, do you think my team could win a game? NOPE. We lost five matches all because of some putz capturing the third base. I nearly had apoplexy. No wonder people on the losing team drop out! Don't people realise that capturing a third base when playing with randoms messes up the spawns and spreads your team too thin? Don't they see that this allows the enemy to kill you and your team mates easier? Haven't they noticed that when you capture a third base, the enemy proceeds to capture the two zones you previously held 'cause no one is defending them properly? I totally agree with you on this. Once you hold two bases, DEFEND THEM. Control the space between them.
